We got married at the Sandos Riviera Otober 30 and it was awesome. The best part was being barefoot on the beautiful beach.

Does anyone that is from Canada know about the legalization of documents for getting Married at Sandos (eg, passports, birth certificates)? I know that different resorts have different requirements. I have emailed the wedding coordinator 3 times about this and she has not provided me with a clear answer. It appears that we do not, but I would like to be clear about it.

Hi there! Congratulations to you all! I thought I would pop and in share a slideshow from a wonderful couple's wedding I shot at Sandos Playacar in October. The beach next to Sandos is just gorgeous, I think it looks like something out of a movie or something...so beautiful! The last part of the slideshow is the trash the dress session very early the next morning. Thank you Tina for letting me share your beautiful wedding with the future Sandos brides!

Hey, did you just get married at Sandos Playacar Beach resort in January? We are getting married there in March (26) and I am still confused about all the packages. We want a legal wedding, we have about 28 guests (including children)-any advice you can offer would be amazing. I am confused about getting flowers also as we could go for the basic package but then flowers aren't included. The packages with flowers dont provide flowers to the wedding party and corsages for the parents....ahhhh...any advice?

Hello, I noticed you got married at one of the Sandos resorts...we are getting married at the Sandos Playacar Beach Resort in 4 weeks and still havent picked a wedding package. We arent sure of much at this point. Do you have any advice on flowers?-Some people have suggested we go with a package without flowers then go in town and get them locally...does that sound feasable? Can you tell me anything I should know? ANything is appreciated and helpful!

You need to have your passport, travellers visa as well as 4 witnesses (which you can also pay for if you dont have them coming) if the male has been divorced he is considered a single man in mexico so no extra documentation needed but if the female is divorced you need a long form birth certificate as well as divorce certificate that you have to fax down to them a few weeks prior to the wedding and they will have it translated to spanish for something like $70 USD/page. Other than that we are taking our birth certificates, passports and tourist visas with us. We are getting married at the Sandos Playacar Beach Resort on March 26...4 weeks!

Thanks for the information Bicky11, I thought that was the case but I wanted to be sure.
You can buy the flowers separetly, I dont have the prices right here with me but I think someone has posted them previously on this threat. I can find them somewhere if you cant find it.
4 weeks! You must be sooo excited! Good luck planning!
