So my FI is going to Vegas tomorrow for his friends bachelor party. I know for a fact they are either going to go to a strip club or hire strippers. I also know that this is a bachelor party ritual, but I still feel weird about it. He doesn't even like strip clubs, but if everyone else is going... I just feel a little mad or jealous for some reason. The thought of other girls boobs in his face just makes me cringe. I'm confident that he loves me unconditionally, and I totally trust him. It's just the other guys that he's with. He knows how I feel, and I don't want to be annoying and bug him about it. I'm just wondering if any of yall have struggled with this too. Thoughts?

OH yes, it is odd ... and well with Jay and I, we have made it a group effort with our friends... that if the boys want to go to the "joint" we (the girls) come along too...

Jay isn't really interested in the whole thing ... but when they boys want to go he joins in to be one of the guys .. and when we all have nothing else better to do a group goes.. I do still feel odd when a girl right in front of me is showing her stuff to Jay.. but I know where his mind is on it.. It's still hard not be jealous over it all. Good luck with things Casey and it will be fine... you know where and who he is coming home to .. and for a night of manly rediculousness .. it always happens.

I'm lucky that my FI hates strip clubs. But yes, he goes to them for bachelor parties and stuff. Really, if you think about it, those places make us look GOOD. Those girls are actually usually pretty gross and sad. Just my opinion...no offence if there are any "dancers" on the BDW board :)

Oh and I agree, you know you have nothing to worry about and he's just doing it to be "one of the guys." So just chalk it up to a stupid guy activity, roll your eyes, and hope that the weekend is over as quick as possible

Casey I totally hear you. I say tomorrow you plan a night at the movies with a girlfriend or something just to keep busy and not obsess at home on your own. KWIM? I am going out of town tomorrow or I would take you out for a drink myself!

There have been times when T has gone with friends to strip clubs for either bach party or just a rowdy night and inside I cringe but I have to tell myself the he's coming hoem to me line. It is true but i can totally relate to the cringing thought of another womans breasts in his face. Funny that many guys say that they aren't interested in it yet still go- on occasion.

            It's all about fantasy....

Just curious...do you guys feel weird about porn too? Or just strippers?

              Is this TMI? Haha.

I don't think it's TMI but let me know if anyone feels differently.

I go through phases with feeling weird about porn. In the past I have tried to jump on the bandwagon so to speak and it may enhance the situation for a bit but I just want my man to expect that all the time. Does this make sense? I think in healthy doses it can enhance and even help a sexual relationship but I think it's also about the communication involved. As long as both people involved are into it- as opposed to someone doing it for the other becuase they feel an obligation.

I think that there are alot of people that become obsessed with that detachment from a real person and only want to watch porn on their own on the internet or whatever. That's when I think teh communication needs to happen. Why does he/she feel that is fullfilling a need that a real person isn't. That sort of thing.

I agree with you ladies...It's like a guys "ritual" or "right" to have strippers on the bachelor party & were not suppose to say anything. I just think if they don't like it normally (which my FI doesn't) why do they have to then? I've come to realize it's more for the guys going to the party & the hype of they making the groom a part of it & do things and a "free hall pass" for them. Its definitely frustrating..i've kinda just given up the fight..i trust my fiance but it just bugs me no matter what & more have issues with his friends setting him up or egging him on to do stuff with these strippers....errrrrrr!!!

Ick! is the first thing that comes to mind in regard to strip clubs! :) I went to a club w/ male dancers (no naked ppl thank goodness) as part of a girl friend's bday party and it was SO goofy! Imagine a guy wearing sunglasses, lip synching to some boyband song w/ a dozen roses in one hand -- all in tiny underwear. LOL. Just ridiculousness! Which is all that is... unless you're T-Pain and think you're in "in luv wit a stripper" LOL

I promise that the best thing you can do is act like you don't care. By doing this you pretty much ruin the "fun" for him.... he will be thinking of you the whole time, trust me!
