white spots on my nailbeds???

I've noticed that on 2 of my finger nails (on the actual nailbed) I have white spots? Do you girls know what this is from?

I remember a long time ago reading somewhere that it is some sort of deficiency, but I just don't remember what kind of deficiency?

Maybe it's something I can fix with a supplement?doh.gif

Thanks for your time!

Thanks for looking that up! It totally makes sense because I have milk every morning when I wake up and I eat a huge bowl of vanilla ice cream w/brownies before I go to bed. That's EVERY morning & evening!
--I am planning on cutting out the ice cream & brownies soon!--
With that said, I'm pretty sure I don't lack calcium.

The zinc though, that's a possibility!

I have these as well...but I am a nail biter/picker!! I know...terrible!! But it just happens!! They split, tear, crack and I can't help it!! I have a problem!!
Now I have weak, gross looking fingers and want nice ones for the wedding...does anyone have any recommendations?? Gel vs. acrylic (or some other type?)? Thanks!! (I will search BDW for some answers too!)
