oh my gosh its all finally coming together!!! So my fired BM is my BM again. I'm actually really happy about it. "firing" her made it all click to her, and she realized how much stress she was causing me and not helping. they finally booked their tickets and said if I wanted her as a BM she would LOVE to be one, if I didn't she totally understood. How can I say no? My BM's are my sis and Joe's 2 sis, she' is joe's SIL and I'm closer to her than the others. She also jumped in and asked my BM doing my shower if she could help and such.

I'm still looking for shoes, need to paint parasols, buy our FG dress (I've already picked it out), I'm buying Joe knew shoes, do BD shoot and pretty much just finish paying for everything. the last few weeks have been very productive!

I've been avoiding the countdown ticker, but the main problem I have is that my minister was coming with us from nyc, but I found out a month ago that he doesn't actually have a photo id to get on a plane... and although I have confidence that will work out, I feel bad that we're not having a hawaiian blessing... anyway... I'm also behind with getting my dresses altered, and one of my bridesmaids hasn't even seen her dress yet, and has no idea if it's going to fit (I'm having the sashes made for them now)... And FH was supposed to put together our reception playlist and hasn't even started!!! So I guess everything will come together in the last 2 or 3 weeks before we leave, right??

I'm getting married August 15th and still have a good amount of things to do. I just ordered my favors, We are making our own wedding Cd's to give out we bought the do it yourself kit from best buy. The stress of planning the wedding made me lose weight so now I have to get my dress which fitted me perfectly altered not happy about that. Monday will mean I have two months exactly before I become a Mrs. I'm excited and stressed at the same time I just can't wait to be on the plane with all the money for the wedding and then I know I will be stress free

Does your minister have a govt issued id? He's going to need one to get his boarding passes and to get through security
He's going to the DMV on Monday. He should have it in 3 or 4 weeks. I'm fairly confident that everything's going to be just fine with that.

Jan, I wish I was losing weight from this stress! I just quit smoking, so I guess they cancel each other out, ha!undecided.gif

Sooo Friday I have my BD pics :/

I'm kinda worried and I'm not sure I have the right clothing for it and I ran out of time to order anything and I really wanted to do a 60s Pin up type thing... but I only have two outfits for that....

Also a friend desided to crash my couch for a week and I work nights so I only have Thursday to hit up the mall/"fantacy" shops in town...

I'm really mad at myself for this, but when I pay I'm going to finnish paying her for the wedding too :)

And I forgot all about trying to get my hair done... and I still have no idea how I'm going to do with my hair short

I need to finnish my DIY shirts for my bridesmaids and my honeymoon

I really feel like I cant get a thing done when I'm working the night shift

two months to today I will be... out of the military!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
