We leave to fly home in less than a week!!! I am so excited, but can't believe a year has gone by already.

I have to start the madness of packing everything for a 3 week trip this weekend, but at least I maybe able to see the floor in my guest room again =) I have just been throwing things into that room everytime I remember something I need to pack.

I woke up in the meddlw of the night thinking, " How am I going to get all this crap to Jamaica?" Now I am up probably for the rest of the night....I have so much stuff to take for OOT bags and for the wedding itself I will need friends to take some of the stuff to the island for me. I am a bit of a control freak and I wish I could just take it all myself but with my dress as a carry on and with the FI and I both taking two bags I still need a little help. I just finished making my luggage tags and I am about to send them out along with my pretravel brochure next week. I am trying to get a list together of when everyone's flight arrives. I used VP to make my programs and I am going to spruce them up with a ribbon or some bling. I ordered them and am just waiting for their arrival. I pick up my favors tomorrow. I had champagne glasses engraved with a palm tree, Jamaica 2009, The Robinson wedding. I will put togs on with our logo and bubble wrap them this weekend. I have gift cards from Victoria's secret which should take care of my beach wear and honeymoon stuff. I will do my online shopping this weekend too. FI is going to the casino this weekend to play in a poker tournament and I decided to stay home to get some of these projects done. I am feeling totalling overwhelmed!! I cannot believe that in exactly one month from today I will be in Jamaica!

Yeah I agree with everyone, my sleep is going to be non exsistent for the next month, I have so many lists going on in my head of different things to do. But today I sent my paperwork in to Carnival which is a big load off my shoulders because it means no one else can say they are coming. I got my shoes that I have been eyeing and they look great with my dress and are a great height. All our travel arrangements are booked. I called a place to get my hair done but they didn't call me back so that is hanging in the back of my mind. I am waiting on vistaprint so I can send out my pretravel brouchures and info. I still need some of my accessories. I put on a sundress today and found a rip in it so I freaked out because I wanted to bring it so I hit up Forever 21 and got a few cute ones that I can use for the trip, however I should have just waited and gotten them in Miami so I wouldn't have to pack them haha oh well! I'm just so scatterbrained right now I hope I get everything done, I've been planning for so long I can't believe it is finally time and I don't feel ready... well don't feel ready stuff wise not that I don't feel ready to get married hehe!

Today I just got my finalized invoice for the ENTIRE wedding-- YIKES! I was all excited because the prices on her website were so reasonable- especially for flowers- and everything went up-- WAYYY up! Somehow, we are not terribly over budget (custom gold rings kinda put us over the top) I'm not sure if I should try to lose some things (do I really need flower tikis, arch, AND orchids and petals for the aisle?) I am glad that our WC didn't charge us a fee on the site, since we found it ourselves, but I do wish her price list on line was accurate. I really hope we're not being ripped off!

On another note- today is my 2nd fitting!!! I am sooo Nervous! We leave 2 weeks from tomorrow!!!!! HOLY CRAP!!!!!dizzy.gif

Also had the strangest dream last night-- that FI's cousin & wife showed up with 3 kids that were their nieces and nephews, and I was like, I have no more chairs, and no more food! WTF am I gonna do with these kids! I was glad it was just a dream, lol!

Jac, don't even get me started on the music playlist! I am so so SO over it- FI was supposed to digitize some music from vinyl, and since we moved, all of his equipment is scattered... ugh. I managed to get plenty of music, but there are some really special tracks on those LP's!!!

But everything else is falling into place- Dress fit perfectly, got our rings, my necklace (just waiting on earrings) and something to wear to the rehearsal dinner-thing. There's not much left to do but pack!! WOW!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
