I have done the dramamine also and it works great- makes you sleepy though- which is great because I usually don't sleep well after a hard night of drinking anyway!

 

My uncle drinks pickle juice-- weird I know but he has made a few of us try it and it helps also - something about the salt making you not get dehidrated as quickly -you retain the water in your system

I was in a sorority in University... so I know where you are all coming from ;-)

 

The only thing that has ever worked for is the following:

 

Multi vitamin with your first drink (make it a tradition with your friends)

 

Multi vitamin with a sports-drink -powerade, gatorade, etc -(the less sugary taste the better)

 

Make sure to keep a bottle of water by the bed too

 

B complex works too. If you are going extra hard core, take a B complex with the Multi ;-)

 

Most "hangover pills" are just salt and a B complex

Yeah I think I'm gonna ditch the idea of the hangover pills. I think I'll just do the gatorade packets in my bags.

UPDATE: B12 vitamins before and pedialye + bread after worked wonders at my bachelorette party this weekend!

Yes they really work!! I use them all the time (well I used to!) and they really work! But they are expensive!

I take Emergen-C in the morning after a big night out. We're going to include packets in our OOT bags. A box of 32 is around 8 or so dollars at Trader Joe's. The best remedy I've ever found, though, is Berocca from Australia. You just can't get it over here. There's something similar, but it has fake sugar in it which makes me feel worse. Emergen-C is a close second choice!!
