Hey girls, had to vent-almost just had a heart attack!

OMG I was on the phone with my stepmom talking about the wedding and my cell phone rings and its the Bridal shop where I ordered my dress at. They were calling because I came in tried on dresses and they hadnt heard back from me - I was like WOAH I ordered a dress and you confirmed it will be in around Jan 16 or so? OMG they had me in their system 2 times, spelled my last name wrong or something, I thought I was going to die. While she was "double checking" my step mom was like breathe.......WHEW!! I am shaking and she said she would have freaked out - I was pretty calm about it and asked her if she called to see if I was awake or paying attention? HAHA OMG I need a drink :)

I have a feeling this thread is about to become a lot more active after the fiest of the year!

Bridget, congrats on all you've accomplished!
Mel,
to multi-quote, go to each post you want to quote and click mq (below right side) then on the last one click quote. At that point, you can type your response(s).

I agree after Jan 1, we will be posting frantically! popcorn.gif

Hi Girls,

My invites are sent out and I am starting to receive RSVP's. Most of the response have been no's but they were all expected. I am just worried no one is booking their rooms (I know we all worry about this) but I have very limited rooms and their is another wedding going on that weekend. No big deal I guess I am just so excited every time I check my guest manager list and someone books. Next is to get started on picking out a bridesmaid dress ....

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
