This wedding is sneaking up on me!!! I feel like I have nothing done. This is what I have finished recently...

-Wrapped ribbon on the handles of the raffia fans

-Got some stuff for OOT bags (first aid kits, tylenol, tissues, fans from Pier 1 and batteries for them)

-Still working on that veil... sad.gif

-Invites went out... well most of them

Yeah... Not much done. I need to start working on those flowers! My next project!

Went home for Christmas and got a lot of wedding stuff done...

*picked out and registered for our china, crystal stemware, flatware and everyday

*1st dress fitting!

*picked out invitations, font and wording

*met with the florist to see a sample bouquet (which I hated, but at least now she has a better idea of what I want)

It's all coming together! YEA!!!

Why does airfare have to keep climbing so high!!!!!!
Amanda, I am in the same boat as you, don't feel bad!!

Hey May ladies,

I mailed out my DIY invites yesterday. Yay! http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t34083

I need to start knowing how many people we will actually have coming to the wedding before my next task- OOT bags and stuff to go in it. I am on a very short break from school but intend on getting some other things out of the way like...

- been listening to lots of music so we can decide on the songs we want to use

- think of vows

- MOH, GROOM and mom attire

- decide on if I really want a veil. Initially I was just planning on a big flower. Now I think I may want both for the ceremony.

Well I am going to a wedding this friday- so maybe I will get some ideas..

Just wanted to say hi- I haven't been posting as much cause life got crazy with school/internship etc..

Happy new year ladies! (We have less than 5 months!)

Yalls both look wonderful! I'm having the hardest time getting my mom and FMIL to get me their OOT guests addresses to send out STD's. It's so hard to get things accomplished when you have to rely on other people who won't cooperate!!! WTF? Just give me a freaking number so I don't order like 150 too many! Ugh!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
