Okay... I called and asked about the featherbed and they wouldn't give out the manufacturere sad.gif Alyssa, do you know if it was the Sleep Basics? It looks just like the one from W, but is definitely cheaper... I was prepared to splurge on the featherbed, but don't want to get ripped off if I can get it cheaper... argh!

Sooooo on to a totally different bed... Matt and I went to his cousin's wedding 2 years ago at the Bellevue in Center City and the bed was SO comfortable that we took the sheets off the next morning to see the tag. For the life of me, I can't remember now what it was. Is this something that I can find online? I tried googling it, to no avail.... (The name of the hotel came up as "Park Hyatt Philadelphia at the Bellevue")

Sorry if this is a thread hi-jack, but its along the same lines as original thread!

Go for it Jenn and anyone else considering buying the W bed. It's such a great mattress. We got the plush mattress because my DH is a big boy and he just smushes down the pillowtop. That's what happened with our last one anyways.

We've had the bed for a few months and it still feels as incredible the first day we received it. Although it did take like 3 weeks for delivery. We went with the regular box spring and you're right it's REALLY high. I think the top is above my waist but I like the effect it brings to our room. We also got the feather topper thingy, this combo is a gem! I owe it to Alyssa and Glenda for convincing me to get it. Worth every penny!

FI really does not want another pillow top since that's what we currently have and it completely sags (it's about 5 years old). He likes a firmer bed. Is the plush still comfy?? We were also looking into the Sleep number beds but this one is less $$ with the discount...

Also, we want to upgrade from a Queen to a King! YEAH!!!

Alyssa ~ THanks for the tip on the feathertop.

Jenn ~ Thanks for posting this!!

P.S. - Mel, anyway you could post a pic of what yours looks like so we can get a visual idea of how high the "regular" box spring is??

That is my problem too. Ryan is 6'5 he ends up making the pillow top go in so much from his weight that I sleep at an angle. It kills my back. I was also thinking of doing the plush with a feather top. You girls are going to get me in so much trouble.... when does this darn sale end? I am under strict orders not to purchase a new set until after the wedding SIGH

Speaking of Pacific Coast, I ordered these pillows about 2 weeks ago!
Pacific Coast Feather Company - Best Selling Down Pillows, Neck Pillows, Bed Pillows, and Feather Pillows

We absolutely LOVE them. We stayed at an Hilton Garden Inn a few weeks ago & literally had the best sleep ever. The pillows were soft but didn't have that sinking feeling that you usually get with down pillows. So ofcourse, I pulled the pillow cases off to see what kinda pillows they were.
Then the next day they left a card on the bed telling all about their "sleep system" which really was about the pillows & their adjustable bed. The Pacific Coast pillow is a pillow within a pillow!!!

So, if you need new pillows, these are definitely worth a try. I am so happy. I usually wake up with neck pain but since I've had these, I've been good. I even gave up my memory foam pillow for these!

If you order them, definitely go online to JC Penny because they are on sale & cheaper there. They also have free shipping right now.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
