Alright so I'm cheating a little b/c I'm not actually engaged yet, but my SO wants a very short engagement and we're planning a DW for January or February of 2009! So I decided doing the research early was a good idea. I'm looking at probably DR or Jamaica. Any advice is more than welcome. We want to make this affordable for our guests (probably no more than 20 all family and only one child who's 13) and we'd like to keep the budget for the wedding itself under 10K. We wanted the AI to be affordable for our guests too. We narrowed it down to a few resorts based on what kind of wedding packages & wedding locations they offered (we wanted a beach wedding and a beach reception) and then what the price was.
