Both of those places are beautiful! im planning on having 40-50 people so were having the cocktail hour at the Cove Terrace and our reception at the Maraccas Terrace (so any pictures of how it looks when you return will be much appreciated wink.gif THe Solarium Mundaca looks stunning, i was worried that it would be too big for my smaller crowd...that sounds awesome with your photographer, im sure he will give you everything you want! where are you thinking about doing the ttd session? im trying to find another place because our resort doesnt have an actual beach/ocean...let me know what you decide...so excited for you...i cant wait till mine is that close :)

Are you doing a package? I'm trying not to freak out about the locations. They all seem to be really nice and overlook the ocean, which is stunning! I definitely will post pics! My photographer is from Cancun and knows of some beaches that are semi-private. So we will probably hit up some of those. If anything, you could always shuttle down to Playa del Carmen and take some on the beach there. I would probably go really early so that you don't have tons of on-lookers. I'm bummed that none of the palace resorts have beaches. I didn't realize this until after I booked. sad.gif

You still have a whole week and the weather may change. I've been to Cancun and Playa del Carmen plenty of times when they said it was going to rain and it ended up raining one day for a mere 15 minutes. Most of the time it rains in the morning and is only for a brief moment. So no worries!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
