Did you fly Delta?  I was told bags were free on Delta and we thought that would be a great savings as my sister will split her bag with her hubby and that would give me another one for just extra's!

I tried it on and thought it was just ok, nothing great. I should definitely feel different trying on my wedding dress, right??? My mom was with me when I was there 2 weeks ago and she knew the look on my face and said "well, maybe this isn't the dress for you..." I almost brought her to tears because she has already purchased it. I was thinking about going to look at other dresses without her and seeing what I come up with. Most places will allow you to use a credit towards another dress. Can you give them a call to see what their policy is? The whole thing is making me sick so I can definitely relate. I would love to hear the outcome of your story.

Extra money is a great bonus. And I love that you are planning not to go in debt for your wedding. I think too many people overspend on their one day.... part of the reason I am doing a destination wedding. My way of eloping with our families there! My future in-laws keep asking how much money they can contribute and I just don't want to throw out a number and her think it's too high. I may be overstepping, but how reasonable is it to keep the wedding ceremony and photographer below $5K. excluding travel of course. That's what I'm shooting for, but I usually have unrealistic goals

I can't copy it from this computer.  My big computer broke so I have to do all my wedding planning on my daughters 10 inch screen, and now I guess all the Word products are expired b/c I can't do anything in Word, excel, etc. anymore.  :(  Booo

I did get my flowers in tonight!  They are beautiful.  I do wish my bouquet was smaller, but it's all good.  I got my daughter all dolled up with her BM dress, put up her hair and she looked so cute.   I also got in our cups.  I thought they came with tops though so I will have to check on that.  I just don't know if people will carry them around if they don't have tops.  Hmmm....  I will try and post pics of those tomorrow too.  I like the little poem I put on them.  :)

Oh, and more good news for the day, my FI's parents are going to give us some money toward the wedding.  That is fabulous news.  We may pull this off without any debt.  Yippee cay yay!!!!  I work two jobs so I stay out of debt and I definitely don't want the wedding to put me over the top.  So, I'm absolutely thrilled about that!!

@jesscampbell - There were lots of activities planned for the kids all day. The only problem would be if the child is under 4, they have to be accompanied by an adult. My niece is 4 and she didn't want my sister to go with her. She told her, "Mama, I'm going to the movies at the kids club tonight and not parents are allowed!" Lol. My sister also used the nanny services when we wanted to do things at night. PM me if you have any questions about that and I can forward them to her.

How do you like Jennifer so far?

On Delta, your bags would be free. My in-laws flew Delta but we flew Continental and our 2nd bag was $27. The same goes for American and US Airways, also.

Yay, I'm checking out your pics now Meredith!  I see you had your cocktail party at the Zavaz Plaza.  What lighting did they offer there?  I noticed some white lights wrapped around a tree.  Were those there or did you pay for them?
