Azul Sensatori Brides - POST HERE!

Recommended Posts

Hey MMK0386, I am going to bring my own stringed lights for the poles.  Got them super cheap from ikea.  You can borrow them too.
Oh wow! Thank you so much!! Private message me an we can coordinate what else we can share! I bought organza in purple and silver for the gazebo and I also have purple chair sashes. I know you said you have lanterns. I was going to ask you if I could borrow some but then a friend of ours actually randomly had our colors left over from a party and gave them to us for free!!! :) I might just see if I can borrow a couple dark purple ones from you. Hmmm... What else could we share?

Do we need a marriage license before we go down to Mexico?  And, what about vaccinations?  A guest of mine asked and I didnt have the answer.  Acutally I didnt even think about it.
Neither are required. If you are having a civil ceremony you will do all the paperwork and blood work there. If you are having a symbolic ceremony it's just symbolic so it doesn't matter- you can get married before you leave or when you get back. As far as I know vaccinations aren't required.

Hi Dawn, the doctor in me feels the need to answer your question about vaccinations, haha!  I'd recommend making sure you are immunized against Hepatitis A & B (there is now a single shot to immunize for both- in Canada it's called Twinrix).  A bunch of us also took the oral vaccine, Dukoral, prior to travelling, and I think it saved some of us (protects against a strain of bacteria causing traveller's diarrhea).  I also suggest you get a prescription from your doctor for an antibiotic just in case you get a really bad case of traveller's diarrhea, which does not let up.

I definitely do not want to start a debate about vaccinations but the doctor in me also feels the need to express the alternative side to vaccinations. I am a doctor as well and do not recommend vaccinating. There are plenty of natural ways to keep your immune system up and running at its fullest potential. I especially don't recommend taking an antibiotic if you don't know that you have a bacterial infection. Most likely you would pick up a virus and an antibiotic wont do anything for that. Pick up a good probiotic, drink plenty of water, and get your nervous and immune system working to its fullest potential by getting a chiropractic adjustment before you go. Like I said, totally not trying to start a debate, I just don't personally like the side effects or ingredients in vaccinations and wanted to share an alternative. To each his own and may we all stay healthy and happy and enjoy our vacations safely! :)

Azul Sensatori is my first choice for my June 2014 wedding. Lots of questions. But, before I get too attached, I'd like to know if gay couples will feel welcome there? We have several relatives and close friends who are in same sex relationships. It is important to us that they attend, feel comfortable and have a good time. Does anyone have any experience with this at Azul Sensatori?

Ok ladies! I need some input, please.... I finally received the first contract from our TA, originally she told us that the pricing for a group can be offered at about a 20% discount... The prices she sent over are the exact same as they have listed on their site as we speak! We are looking at getting married May 3, 2014. What are the prices you were offered for a 7 day stay? A 4 day stay? Were you able to negotiate a better price? Help! I can't see asking our guets to spend $2000 a person to come to our wedding!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
