I had six songs total, but only because I did a sand ceremony. So basically my aunt read the script and then they started the music while Shawn and I poured in the sand... and then we stood there while the song ended.

This kind of goes with my above question... if we put extra songs on, are we guaranteed the right ones will played at the right time?
Ya I think it will be fine. I labled them Bridesmaid, bride, end of ceremony, extra songs ect.

Well at least you heard something so I'm happy for you. Another bride I'm been communicating with told me that their email system is not the greatest down there and that's the delay! When I first started planning I heard from her like gang busters! Now 2 weeks go by before I can get an answer to a simple question so I feel your pain and frustration! I have ever confidence though that once you getthere everything will be just as you wanted! Good luck and can't wait to hear all about it when you get back!!

For the record... they actually didn't play my songs in the order on the CD! LOL! And I did mention it to my father right before we went down the aisle, but really, I didn't care.

So just as a warning, I wouldn't put extra songs on there.

On the list of services that Jazmin sent me when we initially booked in January, make-up services were not listed which I founf very strange...but now you given me a wee bit of hope...off to email her yet again! The poor women I'll keep you posted! Thanks for the heads up!! By the way were you happy with how your make-up turned out??

I was very happy with how my makeup turned out. I didn't let them use their eyeliner or mascara on me, however. I don't wear makeup, so I was afraid it'd be too "not me" and also, that's gross... they use the same bottle for everyone.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
