I spent $140 on 4 bridesmaid bouquets. So mine were $35 each. I did roses with green hydrangeas in the middle of them.

Oh yeah, the pictures that they show are just terrible, IMHO anyway. So I brought down inspiration pictures of flowers that I wanted which used the same flowers I had seen in the photos, but designed much prettier. These actually turned out EXACTLY like what I had in mind. I was so pleased! :)

I also agree the pictures of the flowers the resort sent were not very impressive. What I did was find flowers that I liked and I would send them to my WC until I found flowers that were priced just right. I loved my flowers they were exactly what I wanted bright and tropical with a splash of white. The flowers were very fresh. Here are pictures of our flowers:

Hey ladies,

I wanted to let you know that my friend just returned from her honeymoon at Bahia Principe Coba...........she had soooooo many great things to say.....food was excellent (she said the buffet was so good that it was like having an a la carte meal)........the grounds are very clean......and the staff are super fun. She told me that if she could get married again, she would do it at the Bahia. This makes me even more excited to experience our wedding in the Mayan!

That's awesome that your friend had such a wonderful time. I must echo her comments on the buffet too. I mean, I'm pretty easy to please, but there were SOOO many choices! It was AWESOME! So good. I loved eating there. Even their breakfast buffet was phenomenal. However, I suggest finding out which ala carte offers breakfast and eating there instead. It's still buffet, and has fewer options, but it's MUCH less crowded and the service is spectacular in these! :)

Yeah, I think there is one ala carte per resort. In the Akumal section it's the ala carte (italian I'm pretty sure) that's right above the activity pool. It was awesome because we had a golden club room, so the breakfast buffet was just steps from our room! And then we could also grab our choice of lounge chairs while we were at it. Worked out awesome! :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
