So the photography studi finally emailed me..did anyone else having trouble canceling with them? they are telling me they wont send me the cancelation paperwork until we arrive and on top of that they want all our photographers information before they will even give it to us.

 

I don't want to give them any information about our photographer cause I know they will flag them at the airport and then not be allowed in because they are there for work. Can any past brides let me know how they dealt with this becasue I am not happy that we have to do all of this. They also say they will show up regardless because it's part of the package we choose and we can then decide not to take their photos....to me this is such bull.

 

Any help would be great.

Ignore them.  They will attend the meeting with your wedding coordinator, at which time you can give them your signature on the cancellation document.

I still had a bridal shower as a way to include people who could't attend the wedding. We however did not have a stag and doe (buck and doe, jack and jill) or one of those types of events which are common in my community. We also requested no wedding gifts from our guests as they were paying to attend. We also paid for the majority of the wedding party out fits.

I had the same situation and I was worried also, because I read with one bride that they didn't forward the paperwork or she didn't ask for it and then they showed up anyways 

 

I personally gave them all the info they wanted to confirm my photographer is from Canada, she has a great web presence so I didn't have any issues. 

 

When I went to the meeting with the wedding coordinator the form was there and I signed it. They did not show up. 

 

I asked my now husband to remind me at the meeting to make sure to get this form. Our photographer has had issues when she has attended other weddings, with other photographers trying to dictate the creative shots etc. which was an issue. I was paying for mine so I didn't want anyone else in there bugging her. 

Hi there some of my guests wanted fish instead of meat so I have said they are vegetarian. Jazmin has now asked me for their names so I will just give her a list. My mother in law only eats chicken no red meat and some just prefer fish.

This shouldn't be an issue, they take all this information before reversions, even for a-la-carted and stuff. 

 

I don't eat gluten or red meat, I'm allergic to pork. Our photographer was a gluten free vegan and they accommodated.

We did first look photos before the ceremony, because there isn't much time for light at that point.

Does anyone have any info or photos of the flowers they offer at the resort. My daughter is getting married on Aug 14,2014 at 5pm at the tulum beach, symbolic wedding and poolside reception. Jasmin is the coordinator. 

 

We haven't heard anything else. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

any other brides around this time? I've been reading all your thoughts... I've been there 2 times and loved it!! we saw lots of weddings and receptions.
