Thanks for posting! Are you having 50 people, orr have they changed the poolside reception prices to be higher with a higher capacity limit??

We have about 44 people going i think its a standard price for anyone.. The dj has also gone up to $250 an hr which is insane! Were just going to bring an Ipod and rent speakers for $25 for the day!

Hi KatLew, I have been to the Bahia in August. It is uncomfortably hot mid-afternoon. We usually retired to our room for a couple of hours then so I can't imagine wearing a heavy wedding dress then. I have also been to a wedding in August in PV and while not as hot, still HOT. That being said, it is much cheaper and the resorts are not nearly as full which is a huge bonus. If I were going for August I would request a 5pm ceremony, provide my guests with those cheap little handheld motorized fans and just wear a more flowy, light dress The rain was not an issue at the Bahia, I don't think it rained once when I was there.

Yes, I would honestly prefer to get married in April, but my family is pushing me to do August for the prices, and it will be less chaotic since I will have break off school, as well as my sister, soon to be brother in law, and 2 of my cousins...

 

** what is the deal with the pictures? Do we only get 10 photos, or is it 10 photos printed and we get to keep an entire cd of photos?

 

We are planning to have between 40-50 people attend.

Hi there I wonder how much it is just for the basic bar and setup because I have already paid my deposit which I am a little worried about because I just got an email from the coordinator saying the rules may change for outside DJs aswell. Has anyone else heard this and already paid deposit for dj bob?

Arrecife won't even email me back so I don't know! They sent me a package pricing list months and months ago and then I haven't even been able to get ahold of them since despite emailing and contacting them through their website. Working on "Mexico time" is endlessly frustrating...I would assume it's a CD.
