Hi Tracy.

The theme dinners are $50 a person and the regular poolside dinners are $35 I believe?

For the Italian restuarant, check out my photo tour.  It's Dolce Vita.  You can see the layout of the restaurant.  Most likely, you will have the place to yourself for about an hour before guests will start rolling in.

Thank  you for the excellent tip to ask point blank about the additional meals instead of the theme menu.  Today I heard back from the coordinator and YAAAY they are still an option : )  So we are now booked for a private poolside dinner followed by the poolside reception, I am really excited itâ€s starting to feel real!
Great stuff Sun Surf Sand :) My wedding is in 6 weeks and I still havn't heard whether the poolside is available! x

Quote: We went to the one in Playa Del Carmen. I haven't been to the one in Cancun but I've heard it's just as good, if not better, than the Cancun one. I honestly can't remember how long it took (too many bevies perhaps!) but I think it was about 1/2 an hour betwen the resort and Coco Bongo, maybe less. We bought our tickets through the resort. Coco Bongo has a rep on site that will organize everything for your group.
Thank you very much KRama, We will wait to book at the resort as I was wondering if it was better to book with travel agents here but it sounds cheaper to book through the resort

I would say 9.

9 - hair

10:30 - done (always give yourself extra time!)

11 - Room service or eat lunch (it's hot, you must eat!)

11:30 - makeup

12 - one last pee, and then the dress goes on!

12:15-12:45 pictures

12:45 load yourself in the cart to go to the wedding

1pm you walk down the aisle :)

Thanks for the itinerary aswell! On the bright side, atleast with a 1pm wedding there is lots of time for pictures! And maybe even alittle downtime (probably not :P). Do we have to book a time with the salon or does the WC do that?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
