I know this is long overdue, but here they finally are....I just put together some pics. I just also wanted to thank everyone for being so helpful with everything, I couldn't have done it without all of you.

I'm not going to do a review...I think there have been quite a few reviews on Dreams Cancun, but what I will say is that I highly recommend the resort....our wedding turned out absolutely beautiful. The worries I had about Claudia all disappearred once we arrived there, she was very attentive to our needs and was there for both the ceremony and the reception-which we only had a very small one.

Also, we had Citlalli from Claudia Photography.....Loved her...could not say enough about her...she was great...and we love our pics.

Hi carol you look beautiful and so happy together.can i ask if you booked your trip with ta and then arranged the wedding with the wedding coordinator at dreams via email,phone etc.If its not a rude question how much did you pay for the wedding and what did it include? We like the look of the hotel,we are looking at staying here however as we have 6 children we need to keep a close eye on the budget.I loved your bouquet i will go for the bright colours too.were the i do yours or were they something you took .congratulations to you both you look very happy.

Yes we used a TA and we made our other arrangements thru Claudia the WC at Dreams via email...I didn't have that much to plan really because we didn't have a lot of people coming down there with us so we everything worked out fine thru our email correspondance. I do know that some of the girls with larger weddings thou have spoke with her or her assisstant Daniella over the phone.

 

 

If its not a rude question how much did you pay for the wedding and what did it include?

 

Like I had said we only a small group, actually it was only our immediate family that went down there with us so we opted not to pay for any of the packages. What we did is we got the free wedding which you get if you stay a minimum of 7 nights or stay in a Honeymoon suite or higher or book I believe it is more than 3 rooms. We stayed 8 nights and we booked a Oceanfront Club Jr. Jaccuzi suite. Here is the link for everything the free package includes and the other packages that are offered.

What we did then is added some stuff we wanted and we did have a private reception, which you do not have to have, but we wanted it and so we paid about 800 extra for the wedding....so our total for the room and the wedding came up to about 6500. And then our photographer was 1200. Hope this helps. And btw, this resort is definetly kid friendly. Perfect for a family, plus they have delphinius, where you can swim with the dolpins...highly recommend that...was a memorable experience.
