Oh yes, turns out that my Nanny didn't get a pacemaker and defibrilator. They ended up doing a triple bypass, and she seemed to be doing really well at first, but now not too great. Mom said she has about 8 IV pumps going, she has a bi-pap machince now to help her breath, and her kidneys aren't working so well. I will be going to see her tomorrow before the concert though. They want to put a pacemaker in as well, but have to wait until her heart is stronger.

Wow, everyone is returning as married ladies!! Congratulations to everyone!

There are still a few of us hanging on.. I've only got 5 sleeps until I leave, so its starting to get hectic around here.

I've got a few things left to do like the placecards, table numbers (I think I will do that.. maybe not), and PACKING! But my FH was so cute this weekend and we set up an assembly line to make the welcome bags. I still need to take pics - hopefully I will have time for a planning thread. Oh, and we had our legal day on Friday, so cross that off the list!

I've had some family drama the last few weeks too, so it certainly hasn't been all happy planning.. :S

But so be it. That is life. :) And I will be married in a week tomorrow!

Oh, and tonight I bought the stuff to decorate my bridal flip flops, and also bought my hair flowers. My AHR dress should arrive in the next few days and I am picking up some of my other shoes from the shoe repair tomorrow. Whew! So much stuff to do still, but its all getting crossed off the list. Hurray!

Tomorrow I am heading to the city for the NKTOB concert. YEAH!!!! So exciting. Then on Fri I go get waxed and then to the sex show!!! Not much free time left before we leave now.
Cool you are going to NKOTB concert..I'm going to Madonna tonight!! Let me check off my list: Sewing last wild oats :) Haha So, we leave on Friday. Can't wait!! Thursday night we drive to detroit to stay in a hotel so we are close by. The weather was horrible here yesterday in Michigan snow and icy roads I just pictured crashing right before leaving for Mexico...but I survived the ride home yesterday barely. So, really looking forward to Mexico weather!!

Picked up my dress last night and i didn't even have time to look at it..ha I know I'm horrible so I will look at it tomorrow since I'm not going to be home until midnight...crazy week!!

Hope everyone's wedding went well....glad to have you back!!

hi girls! I have really missed chatting with you all! I know we all post reviews, but I think we should do something here for all us Nov gals. Like everyone tell your most favorite part/most memorable/biggest laugh/most surprising event etc. Whatever. Something to give us all an insight to your day!

And plus, how fun is it to relive the wedding?!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
