Show off your shoes....

definitely white. with you dress having all that texture, I think a little more plain is better (not that the white ones are, just the color of the red detracts a bit from the dress).

I'm a big fan of a pop of color in your shoes, so I vote pink!

I found my shoes! sorry for the crappy pic (cell phone). Kenneth Cole wedges, found on sale at the outlets. the footbed is cork, and the wedge is actually wood.

I had red shoes myself, but I really like how white ones look with your dress. They are stunning!

Thanks Ladies!!!  It really is a hard decision...  From the beginning I knew I was going to have colored heels for my wedding, BUT I fell in love with the "classy-ness" of the white ones.... I'm leaning towards the white ones and wearing the pink ones with my reception dress which is also white and if I get the one I want it will have feathers on it too...

Now to decide if I hem my dress to my sandals, and only use the shoes for pics or hem it to my heels and struggle when walking in sand...  Oh the joys of wanting beachy and traditional!...lol...I'm at such a loss

I'd definitely hem it to your heels and then you can get a pair of platform flip flops or wedges so it doesn't drag in the sand. or, with your free hand, just pick up a part of it when you're in the sand. : ) I'm headed to the seamstress today and am hemming to the heels.

I would hem it to the sandals if you want to wear sandals for the most of the time. I would not want to trip in the dress and would not want to twist my uncle in those heals in the sand. Just my opinion. I just took pics in my shoes and walked in sandals the rest of the time

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
