Becks it was a trunk show so I got 10% off they have other amazing designers but I just love Modern Trousseau. I tried on Carla as well and thats is another beautiful one. I have curves so I cannot rock that one but your you skinnys out there this one is a beauty. All her materials are very light and flowly.
LOL, when I was looking at your dress last night, I was totally gushing over Carla on the website...just the right amount of ruffle for a DW (Plus, I could stand to fake a curve or two!!).
Also, as a random side note...I lived in New Haven for 2 years...not too far from you or apparently the dress designer.

Trust me try that dress is on, there is nothing like it :)

OMG we loved down down for three years and just bought a condo in Branford a year ago. Clinton is not far at all only about 25 minutes from New Haven.

Hi Lisa: I just booked the gazebo location for that day at the Gran Caribe! One thing down! Wish we had the patience to do the Catholic classes here in our church, but that's what's keeping us from having the wedding at the chapel. We're going to Cancun in a couple months, and The Royal PDC will be one of our pitt stops, if time allows. Can't wait to hear/see more from fellow Royal Resorts brides!

I had the same issue. It took weeks for the deposit to come out of my account. My TA had to call on an almost daily basis to finally get the deposit cashed. Who knew it would be such an issue to give them money?

Yeah, I know what you mean- that is the only thing that prevented us from booking the chapel (that sounds so awful, but it really is time consuming). The gazebo area there is gorgeous!

Hi,

I am debating whether to get married at Gran Caribe or The Royal in Cancun...big decider is privacy and how many onlookers there are!

Can you tell me how private/unprivate is the Gazebo at the Gran Caribe?

thanks for your help!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
