Does anyone know how many chairs are on a table?  I'm ordering table runners but not sure how many to order!

Thanks!

I sent out my save the dates! Now I have 75 people to contact.

Crossing my fingers that my vendors are able to switch days and it's just a minor hiccup.

I wonder if I can get compensated or get something free for this hassle? Any suggestions?

Everyone's already given you all the suggestions I would give you, but I am a true believer that everything happens for a reason and I know you will be just fine! Wishing you well and hope you make-up person was able to confirm the new date with you.

I agree - it depends on how formal you want your event. If you don't mind sharing space with others - no need to make reservations. But if you plan on having a large group - it might be a good idea to make reservations. The fee charges are the same as for the reception from the wedding packages. if you look at the Luxury package - it should state the fees for drinks and food.

At least that's what my WC told me. You will find that it all depends on what your WC says. They all give different answers. rolleyes.gif

So with the flowers I was told if I picked them up myself - no vendor fees. If my vendor comes and sets it up - I will be hit with a fee. Sweet!! Saving myself $350 on that one!!

Thanks for the info

Hey Maritza! :)

Janna, I'm glad you got everything resolved!

Happy belated wedding day, Running Bride!

Ravelyn, I took a big shell and wrapped it good and took it on my carry on and we didn't get stopped for that. I guess it just depends!!

I just got back from a trip to Playa Del Carmen/Cozumel...the weather was absolutely gorgeous. It gets a bit chilly at night so for you Oct brides, definitely bring a light jacket or something. The waves were kind of rough! We didn't have any issues with paying in USD dollars that was less $100. We saw some signs that the airport in Cancun will not accept over $100 in USD and has to be in pesos. The exchange rate was ridiculous! Fortunately, we had some $100 in pesos as a wedding gift. I wouldn't worry too much about this whole thing but do get some pesos to cover your butt. :) You can use your credit card for most of purchases.

I wish I can go through my wedding planning again! I miss it. sad.gif I'm living viarciously through all of you!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
