also, theres always the option to do your RSVP online like we are. we are including an RSVP enclosure with the invite, just not asking them to send anything back -- but to visit our website and rsvp there instead :)

FYI, the rate change occurs May 12

How come it quoted the whole thing!!

We also did the RSVP online.. but only three have done it so far! hope they get a move on!!pinkie.gif

Yikes, I feel like I need to get moving. We were trying to get our invites out this week as well, but when I went to assemble them, I noticed that there was a MISTAKE on them. I am so angry about it and am headed to Papyrus after Steve gets home to have them fix it immediately.

I'd make my list of things I need to do but it would be too long. :-(

Thanks for reminding me about the postage change.

Yep it does suck not having a family member there... only my FIL and StepMIL have booked. I have this whole idea of doing the hand ceremony and having FIL and someone from my family read the ceremony... frown.gif

I have been Busy!!!

1. Mail out invites by April 1

2. Find AHR location (There will be an insert in the invitation.)

3. Get the last few things for BD shoot (It's on Monday.)

4. OOT bags

5. Monogram

6. Bridesmaid dresses

7. Updating flower order

8. Music

9. Travel Packet

10. Changing flights

Then I still have to coordinate a couple group trips, get menus printed, confirm wedding day itinerary, and other decor.

And I decided on a DW so I wouldn't have to do anything. LOL!!!

That would be me!!! I did this all liquid diet through the hosiptal.. it was good the first 4 months but not it sucks.. i meet with the nutritionist today to start introducing food back into my diet! i bet veggies have never tasted so good!!!

Any ever think that maybe a DW is more stressful because you really don't know what is even going on until 3 days before!! I sure do! I am not even 100% sure that i have the time i want! smile43.gif

so i got a call from my travel agent today. our flight was pushed back by quite a few hours resulting in us getting to mexico hours later than our families. so now we may end up flying in a day earlier. ultimately, getting there later on tuesday isn't a huge deal, but if we can swing an extra day, why not!

i'm glad atleast that this crap is happenning now, and not months from now.

I sent out my invites at the end of January....people are so darn slow in responding though. I think we have 25 people so far. Mostly close family which is fine with me. But we sent out 70 invites. It would be nice to know the final number so that I can get going on the OOT bags.

Otherwise, I am in the same boat with all of you girls here.

Wedding dress alterations

Not sure what to do about my hair

FI gift

OOT bags and contents

Pick menu for rehearsal dinner and reception

get center piece materials

Ship stuff to Dreams a month in advance

lots of little things!!

Yep I agree... it is very stressful not knowing whats going to happen until 3 days before, I keep telling myself that everything is going to be okay! lol I guess it doesnt matter, we are probably gonna stress anyways huh?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
