Dreams Punta Cana Brides

I think Nat already mentioned it but I was going to say you could find some really classy ankle/foot slaves that you could wear if you didn't mind going the barefoot route and still have a really gorgeous looking foot. I am considering doing that as it lends itself well to south asian traditions. I was also thinking of getting hand slaves to match.

I just wanted to say for the kids meal, that I had heard of a bride paying as little as $5-10 for the kids menu as all they ate were burgers and fries. It was my understanding that the half price for children was if they were eating the same meal as everyone else. That was on the Dreams message boards. I asked Deyanira about this and although she was a bit vague at first, she said she could look into the pricing for me.

Tam I've never heard of that store, but that sounds like a great deal! I was looking online and found this website - Not sure what the prices are like to ship to Canada, I haven't gotten that far yet.

H&H Creations of Custom Embroidery

As for groomsmen presents, Bill thinks all the "typical" ideas like flasks and cuff links are useless, so I suggested maybe sunglasses and board shorts for each of the guys, or their sandals for the wedding. At least then it's stuff they'll actually USE again!

I don't think I could EVER gather the courage to do BD photos, but I really wish I could! They are so gorgeous!

Regarding the video, I'm not sure if we'll do that or not, I know of a couple of brides who say they watch it once and that's it, but others love theirs. We'll see! There's so much for me left to do, I feel like I'm totally going to leave out some vital part of the planning process!

Oh nsbride ur getting married on the beach!? awesome! So how do you feel about the picture they sent you of the setup? I'm not diggin it too much. I emailed Deyanira asking if they had other photos of beach weddings there or if maybe they had other arches/decor to get married under and also if they allowed rose petals in the aisle. If its all they have though, it doesn't bother me enough to not get married on the beach because thats always been my dream wedding!

I don't mind not wearing shoes, its part of the experience. But I'm definetly changing into a shorter dress and wearing fun heels for the reception!

Ok so there is another option, its called a huppa... its like the Jewish use to get married under it, but its GORGEOUS! We found out that it costs $350 decorated with flowers, and $150 if its just the white linens.. personally i like the basic white linens, I am getting married on the beach after all and its gorgeous!!

BD Pictures are boudoir pictures... you can give them to your hubby just before you get married, and they are sexy lemme tell ya! They are tastefully done, with lingerie or partially nude if you so desire! There are examples in the general information section of the site, under photos and something else!

Let me know if you want to see pics of the huppa, and leave me your email so I can send em :)

BD pics sound fun and like a good idea but I dont feel like I could take pics like that with some stranger lol. Anyone with the courage should do it though, such a good gift for your future hubby ;-)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
