well like I was saying before I realized that it isn't the rooms that are booked.. it's the packages. So there is another way.. a la cart. Book your room at the website of the resort if your stay on the punta cana side. the website is

Then go find a cheap flight.. I find a cheap flight with us airways.. yes it's not direct.. but it still gets the guest there. I think it may come up to $100 more then actually buying a package.

I looked at that website, which I think is what we're going to do. The website through Fiesta Hotel Group: The Royal Suites, Palladium Resorts, Fiesta Hoteles, Fresh Apartamentos, Ayre Hoteles - Información, Reservas y Ofertas also seems to not have any availability for the end of the week for Royal Suites what.gif, but I'm optimistic that they will have room in the Palace section.

no I checked that website as well and your right there is no avaiablity... so I went to this sit, which is not the resort... they sell rooms for the resort..

and if you want your guest booked at any other side, they have a link to swith to the other resorts

Keep in mnd that some groups are able to hold rooms/seats until a certain date before departure. If there are other groups going the same week as you there may be some roms/seats that come available closer to departure (60 days'iah?). Not ideal, but maybe not all is lost for the late bookers.

I even tried that website myself, just to see if even that would work - when I put in for guests to land on April 14th, even this website doesn't show availability. Another 6 guests minumum, so far, are going to have to stay at the Occidental or IFA villas next to GP and I guess we're going to cover $120 /guest to come to our wedding and reception. I'm hopefully maybe carolina will give us a break on the passes since the ceremony starts at 4, and the reason I need the passes is for lack of availability in the resort, which is supposed to have over 1,000 rooms.

really!!! i am so sorry your need getting any avaiablity.. werid.. probably the dates your looking at. I also came up with the Ocd in case guest still want to come but will still there. Our wedding is at 2:30 so our guest will need to buy 2 passes... so for 1 couple it'll cost them $240 just to come to our resort!!!!! I think thats insane.. and we can afford that.. not even for 1 couple.

I have a funny feeling they will add more packages soon (hopefully) I just know it's not the resort that is full but the packages. I just hope I am not wrong.

I just check the grandpalldiumpuntcanaresort site.. and I did it for april 14th and they have room!

not sure if you'll get that.. but yup.. $1162US from April 14th to 21st.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
