I feel so disconnected. Usually I at least log into BDW a couple times a day but haven't since Friday.

I have been working on my invitations and nothing seems to be going right. I decided to do the boarding pass (Thanks Katrina for your help) and went to office max to have them printed on card stock on Friday. The woman popped the disk in and said "I think there is something wrong with your disk". She couldn't find my file on the disk. I jumped in my car, went home and resaved it and then went back. She got the file open but where my pretty palm and hibiscus were only had letters. I guess because they were downloaded fonts and their pc didn't have them, they come up as the letters. So I happened to have a copy of my passes so she offered to copy them to see how it looked. It looked okay (not as good as if it was printed from the disk but do able).

This morning, I went to a closer store to print out the RSVP cards which they opened up with no problems but when I saw how much better the RSVP cards looked compared to the actual invite, I rushed home and changed the clip art my original invite and had those printed out. They looked great until my FI and I noticed a smudge of green across my name. So I called office max and explained that it kinda bothered me (I was nice). The girl was very confused so she gave me the manager. I went through the whole thing with him and said I really don't mean to be picky but this is important to me. He told me he thinks the girl photocopied the first copy because that is really the only way the smudge would be on every sheet of passes. In the end, he informed me to come in tomorrow and he would take a look and then reprint them.... So hopefully, he just reprints them with no fuss and I will be thrilled!

I guess I should have started out with: Hi, my name is Angie and I am a Bridezilla (& totally OCD)

Don't be so hard on yourself! I would have done the same thing if I were having materials printed for my business! Trust me, they've dealt with A LOT worse. :)

You deserve to have them exactly as you want them. Hopefully they can be fixed when you return.

hello, you can save the boarding passes as a pdf so that they can print them as is.

            just download "cute PDF writer"

Thanks for tip. I told FI that instead of getting so flustered last night I should have thought more about it. I have to admit, I personally like the second version better so maybe all the drama was meant to be.

I can totally relate. I’m doing the boarding pass invites right now and me and my future hubby are printing and cutting them out. It takes like 32 cuts with the paper cutter and corner cutter. I’m going crazy but they look so cute. I love them but it has really been stressful. I’m wondering why I went with home made invites now.

I don't think that's bridezilla-ish or OCD. Nearly every girl on this board will agree that having your invites looks good is important. They kick start the build up for your wedding plus they are something to keep in the scrapbook. Get them done the way you want them!

If it makes you feel better I'm having similar issues. I almost started crying at one point out of frustration. I can't even get my address labels to line up correctly. They keep printing funky.
