Linen blend suit for my FI: Full linen suit for my uncle who is walking me down the aisle: Then the groomsmen are wearing outfits from old navy! That's really strange! As soon as its a family member they usually back right off since they are there the entire time you are and might just have a nice camera [emoji6] I'm not stating she is a professional photographer to them either just that she's my aunt! Thank you! All the pieces are from people close to me; like my great grandma and great aunt who passed away, and some pieces are from my grandma, my moms sister and my moms! For myself getting married in Jamaica the outside vendor fee is 350$ US! As a Canadian bride that's huge since it'll be more like 400$! I have a close family friend that is coming to my wedding and to get around that "rule" I am saying she is my aunt [emoji4] they can't say no to that! She is there the entire week also (gave her one of our free trips!) so I'd say try that! I'm personally not doing OOT bags because it is a huge expense and hard to get all together I find! Especially since I was recently in a car accident [emoji16][emoji21] so haven't been able to do as much as I would like! Instead for wedding favours we are doing cup cozies [emoji4] (Perfect for Red Stripe in Jamaica!) For my bridesmaids I'm doing a sort of OOT bags [emoji4] I had the idea to get each girl a sun hat with a beaded sash saying their position ex. Mine says bride haha! Since I want to take a picture with all us girls laying on the beach in our floppy hats[emoji1] I also got each one a beach bag that came with a bathing suit tie on cover! People can be just absurd about their expectations it seems! I'm glad your husband is very understanding about it all (would be 10x harder if he wasn't!), as long as you take a stand and say how things are going to be without letting her have a say about the final product you should be able to avoid half the nuisance at least [emoji12]. At least these experiences will help you in the long run for dealing with children (since she is acting like one herself!) The one on the left add maybe the shell or starfish up by the string (I'd say the shell would be best to offer the eye variety!) but other than that you could do sparkles around the edge? The first gazebo is where we are actually getting married and that's the decor that comes with our Royal package! (Going to ask if the flowers can have some more purple in them since our wedding colors are gold,ivory and purple! [emoji5]️ we are sticking pretty minimal too since we don't want costs sky rocketing [emoji16][emoji38] I'm not getting flowers at the start of every aisle maybe every other or so [emoji4]if you bring in outside florists or anyone you are subject to a 350$ vendor fee, but a lot will pay the vendor fee themselves (like the DJ we booked Kevan Stewart!) My WC emailed me back today about the decor and a picture of what the cake is like!! This is the decor that comes with our Royal wedding package: I'm thinking I may add these: (See about getting more of a purple and ivory look though) As well as: I really like the idea of aisle runners; I think it just finishes off the wedding look! I have emailed tai flora since they do have a store in MOBay [emoji4] I just don't want to be spending a ton of money on decor! We got the Royal package so we only get my bouquet and my FI boutonnière; still need 4 more bouquets and 5 more boutonnières (one for my uncle!). I can't get over how ignorant people are! (Also I couldn't stop laughing at that MIL statements!! [emoji23]) I am SO GLAD she is not my MIL; if I was her DIL and read what she had wrote I'd tell her to stay home in her own bed and enjoy her coffee, while all the family that care and support me are with me and my FI! Hello ladies!! My wedding is coming up quick; and I was wondering what other brides or brides to be have done for florists for their weddings?? We got the Royal package since the Caprice had nothing extra that we wanted or needed! I just don't think the flowers that come with our package will look good for the wedding.
