  1. I was planning on selling mine after we return from Mexico on June 23rd. If you are interested just let me know. It'll be shipping from California.
  2. @@TNT2015 Interested in the gold sequin runner, tablecloth and Wally bag if not sold yet. If so, where did you buy it?
  3. @@misbosox Where did you order your Mexico map? I've been looking at similar maps on etsy but I really like the gold glitter.
  4. @@Robeanies what's you email address?
  5. @@Dportbride Thank you so much for your review and all of the information you provided. Everything looks so beautiful! We have booked our 6/16/16 wedding at the Riu Palace. We picked the gazebo for the ceremony and Baja Norte for the private reception. How was the weather during your stay and what time was your ceremony? Ours is at 4 and I'm hoping it won't be too hot during the ceremony and reception for our guests. For your outside photographer, what was the process of them entering the resort? Do you think they overlooked the outside vendor fee or is this something they don't require anymore? Also can you share a rough timeline of your reception... Time dinner was served, first dance, speeches, etc. and if the WC was present to ensure that everything ran smoothly. I'm debating if I should delegate this task to someone in the event that this is not included in the WC's duties. I appreciate all the information/advice you can give.
  6. @@Ambie I sent you the email this morning
  7. @@CaboBride6252016 You're welcome! When I booked back in December 2014, the wedding sales department confirmed everything and emailed me the name of the coordinator for the Riu Palace. Since then it has changed from Ana Maria Noriega to Ana Laura Martinez Davalos. The email contact is: [email protected]. I emailed a couple weeks ago (7/6/15) to find out if the 2016 extras list was release yet, but I have not received a response.
  8. @@Ambie What's your email? I can send info to you.
  9. @@CaboBride6252016 Congrats to you too! I sent you an email with the information that was sent to me. I emailed the wedding coordinator to find out if the 2016 price list was released, but I haven't received anything yet.
  10. I'm interested in the rose real touch bouquets and sashes. Can you send pictures to jrcorrales@@gmail.com please?
  11. Can't wait to hear about everything and see your pictures! Congratulations again!
  12. Thanks for the info! I was actually eyeing a couple invites from there a few weeks ago. They also offer a free sample kit...
  13. @@pykx82 I sent you the email. Keep in mind those are for the Riu Palace in Cabo San Lucas. Happy planning!
  14. @@FutureMrsDiehl Welcome to the forum! I am also planning my wedding at the Riu Palace and I know there are a couple other girls. This is a great place for ideas and obtaining information about venues. I joined a couple months ago and have read many reviews and feeds on the Riu Palace which helped with picking the resort. To answer your question about Club Pacha, I have seen pictures after searching on Google and on YouTube there are some videos. It is shown when it is a regular club and not set up as a private event so you might want to ask Ana Maria the WC for details. Since all private events end at 11 PM at the Riu, I'm planning on having our guests go to the club to keep the party going. In order to finalize your reception site, it sounds like you to hear back from the guests that said maybe. I totally understand what you mean about the restaurants. I would like to have a private reception at the steakhouse, but with our expected number of guests. we maybe be over 40 which is the max for Don Julio Terrance and below the min (100) to close the whole restaurant. Right now we're reserved for Baja Norte. MelissaH113 recently wrote an awesome review of her Nov wedding and she has been very helpful in answering questions I had. Good luck with the planning and we're here for you!
  15. Our date is confirmed for June 16, 2016 at the Riu Palace, Cabo San Lucas
  16. @@samFEB2016 Our date is set for June 16, 2016. @@sbodnar4 Most likely we will not visit the resort. That is so cool that you have somewhere to stay when you visit. When you go you will have to share your photos and tell us about it . Thank you so much for the information which very helpful to us. From all the online reviews everyone has also mentioned the cleanliness and the great service which is awesome.
  17. @@sbodnar4 We are expecting about 60-70 guests out of the 90 invited. Our color scheme will include coral, gold, peach and champagne. I'm planning on bringing our own decor instead of flower centerpieces and hanging paper lanterns/lights. I agree that there is so much to do. I started listing everything out and started a timeline. Currently I have to finalize our room block and get that submitted to our TA, decide on our STD and get back on my workout routine lol. We have our engagement photo shoot coming up and my 3 sisters are already asking when we're going bridal dress shopping. Thanks for sharing @@jenna32schap. A sunset dinner overlooking the ocean sounds perfect! That is a great idea to have the semi-private dinner then drinks and dancing at a private location. That would be something I would consider, but probably not feasible at the Palace. For the semi-private dinner the max is 40 people at both restaurants, San Jose and Mar de Cortes.
  18. @@hpreece Thank you for your review and sharing your pictures as some of your vendors are ones that I'm considering. Rev. Marco is the Riu Palace's officiant and all his reviews are always positive. I always wanted Gilda for photography. Your wedding pics are beautiful and her package prices are the best I've seen. Also Alma Vallejo is on the top of my list for hair & makeup. Do you highly recommend a trial?
