  1. We booked Doremixx and from what I've heard he's amazing and brings all the fun stuff! Can't wait to see how it all happens June 15th!
  2. That would be awesome!! I'm currently battling with power point for my key holder inserts! Had it all perfect and now the margins don't want to align with the printer! Grrrrr... I was also going to do what you're doing and go have them printed at kinkos and made into a little welcome booklet
  3. You You and I must be on the same wave-length! I was just saying to my fiancé that we need to do something for Father's Day too! We're June 15th as well!! I'm also starting a Facebook-like thing for our 60 guests! Are you starting from scratch or did you find a fun template to use? I tried looking everywhere online for something "yearbooky" or fun but had no luck.
  4. I'm keeping my eyes peeled I'll start asking around...the othe thing I worry about is if the $175 set is bad quality compared to the $275 set! All of which I think sound outrageous for lashes that are going to fall out.
  5. I've been thinking about this since my friend from Dallas came to visit me and her lashes were done and fabulous!! I'm hurt wondering who in my town can do them as well and that price is painful! I'm hesitant that using a groupon will send me to a salon that doesn't have much experience! Hmmmm
  6. Happy Easter to you too!! I was JUST thinking the same thing!! Eeeek!! Trying not too panic...April sounds a little too close to June!! Lol
  7. It seemed to fit everyone's budget the best and has that warm family feel for the kids coming to the wedding so fingers crossed it all goes well
  8. Hi Jessica! I'm a June 15th bride up the beach at the Gran Porto Real and I'm arriving the 12th. I know it will be chaos but if you're out and about in Playa the 8th do you think you could let me know if you find any fushcia, orange and purple maracas at a reasonable price? Also if cases of water at Walmart aren't outrageously prices? Thanks so much!
  9. p.s....where are you getting married in Playa? That's where we'll be too!! I bet our paths cross at the airport or somewhere! Lol
  10. We've got this girly!! We still have time! I'm June 15th and we were engaged in October...baby steps! It's helping me to write out EVERYTHING in lists...no matter how small or trivial it may seem! That way it's there and I feel so good when I can put checks next to a few a day (even if they're tiny things that need to get done! Lol)...everyone laughs at me for toting this notebook and list around but I panic when I don't have it! Lol
  11. Ya that's what I'm worried about...we're doing this to appease my parents and their friends (only family is being invited to Mexico...and even that was supposed to be like 20-30 people but we're at 60!!!! Another stress producer financially!) and honestly I'd be happy not having it! I'm also worried because we're at 130 people getting invites for the AHR! I don't feel like we'll be able to relax and enjoy it when I don't have a a day-of coordinator so we'll be setting it all up and have to tear it down by a certain time since our venue turns into a nightclub...dreading this but can only admit it to you girls!! Lol
  12. I also ordered mine from Specialist ID and they were quick and great quality!
  13. Ah yep...I guess you're right...that's part of the stress for sure! Lol
  14. Is anybody feeling like their AHR, which was supposed to be low key and chill, is turning into more of a logistical nightmare than the wedding? Lol! Ours is a week and a half after we return from Mexico and I'm starting to dread it! Lol
  15. No I don't think they're the same...I think the ones without tabs has a few more labels on it
  16. I lived in Cancan last year for 6 months doing an internship. I'm a white female who barely speaks Spanish and not once did I feel unsafe!! The news here blows everything out of proportion! Cancun and the Riviera Maya RELY on tourists so will therefore do everything they need to do to ensure we are safe! Obviously everyone should use their brains and not be overly "American" but there are honestly parts of my city (San Antonio) that I would be more scared of being in than anywhere in Cancun or the Riviera Maya!
  17. Ya that's why we chose them since we can assemble them and hopefully break them down without wrecking them to bring home after to use for our AHR
  18. We're bringing down 8!!! And even though they pack flat they're bulky and 8 pounds a piece so I'm worried about his we're going to get then there. Would love to check them all in a Rubbermaid Crate but then we'd be WAY over the weight limit so I'm praying each person can carry two each and they won't break in our suitcases!
  19. Hmmmm...I'm wondering if adjusting the non-tab ones like you did will work
  20. Very pretty! That's the lantern we are taking too! I thought I'd like the silver but I ended up choosing the black ones so they stand out against the white table cloth and fushcia table runner. I'm still debating on what to use with the lanterns as I don't feel like paying a fortune flowers...leaning towards tissue poms or something else I can make ahead of time.
  21. Was that for the labels with the tab on top? Or without?
  22. These are awesome! I'm beginning to think I need to add more things to my bags but when I see the piles of products unassembled on my guest room floor I worry about having to pack more things! Hmmmmm
