    Welcome and congratulations! You are definitely in the right place! You will find soo much information about anything you can think of. Picking a resort will be one of the hardest decisions, at least it was for me. There are so many options it just depends on what you are really looking for. I wanted an all inclusive, family friendly resort that had beautiful crystal blue water. Something that wouldn't be expensive for my guests. After looking thru tons and tons of pictures and reading reviews on here FI and I decided on Barcelo Maya Palace in Riviera Maya. Good luck in your planning!

    Hi Ladies! Congrats on your upcoming wedding! I'm getting married at the Palace 7/25/14. We went with the Mint Breeze package but depending on how many guests confirm I might change it to the Strawberry. NurseNurse0101 my actual planning didn't start until I booked my trip (they will ask you for a confirmation) it's broken down in steps. At the moment I'm stuck on step 2 which is the menu options and asked to move on to step 3 but can't do that either since it's regarding the seating chart. I have no clue how many guests are coming. We invited about 45 and so far 15 are confirmed. So I might not be able to really plan with WC until I start getting my RSVPs (haven't sent invites either lol). However I do have all the big stuff out the way photographer, makeup/hair is booked. Good luck and let me know if you have any other questions, I'll be glad to help!     That's great to hear!!! I have been very laid back in the planning as well even though I feel like I should be doing more!     Hi ladies! I am a NJbride from Essex county. I'm getting married in Riviera Maya in July. Have you ladies gone bridesmaid dress shopping yet? If so, where? I'm trying to find nice but budget friendly dresses. Don't want my bridesmaids spending an arm and a leg.

    Thank you so much! Thats exactly who I am booking! I too have heard nothing but great things about them and have heard very mixed about the spa so rather being safe than sorry I will spend the money and know for a fact I will look fabulous!

    Hello Barcelo Brides, I find myself going back and forth through old Barcelo threads waiting for responses so I figured I'd start a new thread. I'm getting married at the Palace on July 25, 2014. Everything is booked including flight, hotel, and photographer! I have a few questions for future brides planning their wedding now. Are you using the spa to do your hair and make up or are you hiring an outside vendor? If so who are you using and how do the vendor fees work for hair and makeup artist who usually travel with a group of artists? Do you pay the vendor fees, guest passes, or is there NO fee? Other Barcelo brides please feel free to post since it's all the same packages, and planners anyway lol ! Would love to hear about your planning progress! Looking forward to hearing from you all!

    Not sure if you got your answer already but your wedding date is put on hold until you book your stay. My wedding had been on hold since January 2013 and I just got it confirmed this month when I booked at the end of September.

    Past Brides, I booked a TTD session for the day after my wedding (getting married on a Friday). I also would like to book a group excursion with my guests sometime during the trip. However, most guests will be arriving on Thursday and leaving Sunday. I'm wondering if I should reschedule the TTD session for Sunday instead and do the excursion on Saturday. My question is would I ONLY have to pay for a guest pass if I have the photographer come back on Sunday or do I have to pay the vendor fee and guest pass? Thanks!

    Great!!!! I got mine from https://warehousefabricsinc.com .. It was 7.47/yard. I signed up for their newsletter and you get $5 off which is nothing because shipping is $4.95 but for 8 yards I spent about $60. My runners will be approximately 17" x 65".

    Yes I fell in love with it the minute i saw the picture! Well I actually bought the chevron fabric and my mom will be making the runners for me.
