    Your welcome!! My planning is going great have a few DIY projects done and have bought a lot of stuff as well including my dress! I am doing a chevron theme and my centerpieces are mason jars. My colors are white and grey chevron, turquoise and pops of fuchsia. Got the idea from Pinterest lol!

    The runner did change the look of it! You can go with that option if you like. Maybe you can look into real touch flowers. A lot of brides go with that option and there is a thread on real touch flowers. Try Pinterest too!! You will find tons of great ideas there. You can search purple and lime green wedding theme or decor and see what you get! I have pretty much planned my whole wedding thanks to Pinterest and the ideas I have found here of course!

    That looks very nice! I like the idea of the wooden numbers. That is actually what I am using as table numbers. I'm going to paint them turquoise which is one of our colors. How about a table runner? That would give it a nice touch as well!

    Hello Brides! Did anyone have a light up dance floor? If so did you get it from Barcelo or did you rent it from an outside vendor? I would really like to have one for the reception but I'm not sure if it's worth 1k plus that they charge for it.

    Not far at all!!! I'm getting married at the Barcelo in Riviera Maya 7/25/14.. Can't wait! Thanks so much for looking it up! I really like those bags! Will definitely look into that seller! Thanks again and looking forward to seeing the rest of your projects!

    Will all your guests be staying at the same resort? Although I have not had my wedding yet, I anticipate all my guests staying at the Maya Palace. What we plan to do is get everyones room number/extension that way we can call them before meeting up for breakfast/dinners/beach/etc. I'm sure there are other ways to keep in touch but that is what I have in mind so far.

    Hi Barcelo Brides! I am also getting married at the Barcelo Maya Palace on July 25, 2014! Still undecided with what package we will go with since we did a site visit and wasn't too happy with the banquet hall included with the Mint Breeze. How is everyone's planning going?

    Soooo, I went to 3 different dress appointments and I have found the one!!! Have another appointment next week to try it on and I'll be saying "Yes to the dress" that day!!!! How is everyones planning going? I have sent out my save the dates already but people can't book yet since the flights are not out yet. When is it a good time to start bridesmaid dress shopping?

    Completely agree with Moments that Matter!! The resort is absolutely beautiful! The service was great and there was tons of things to do. It's very family oriented as they have a waterpark for kids along with a kids club with different activities for them everyday. Let me know what kind of info were you looking for?

    Hello Ladies!! Anyone buying linen napkins .. this website has a lot of variety and good prices. The color I wanted was sold out but found the same napkins from the same company in stock on Amazon. I received today and they are exactly the color shown on the picture and great size.     Just went to try on the Maggie Sottero Divina yesterday at Arlene's Bridal in Bloomfied!! It "was" my dream dress but it wasn't it! And the price was crazy!!! That's awesome you got a replica for that price!!!!

    WOW! Awesome work! I loooove your envelopes! Are those stamps? I mailed out my STD's this morning also!! I cannot believe that no where on the STD or on the envelope I included "Formal invitation to follow" Not a big deal right???

    Mine doesn't wear jewelry at all.. He went very simple $200 black band which was better for me because I got to splurge on mine .. I got an insert band.

    Wedding Ring shopping how exciting!!! I went to the jewelers to get my e-ring cleaned and walked out with our wedding bands!! I'm going dress shopping for the first time tomorrow!! I'm soo excited!!

    I absolutely get what you mean..I have gotten excited when I have received STD's or Invitations in the mail! FI also says "the hell with mailing, just give me the ones for my people and you do whatever you want with your people" LOL Exactly!!! Who knows now a days!! That's exactly what I was going to do!!!! Walk up to the mailbox drop it and run!!!! LOL

    Ok Ladies! I have never been so crafty until now!! Here are 2 of my DIY projects I have done so far. My ribbon wands for the send off and my chevron straws with flag! Very happy with how it came out!

    Totally get what you mean! FI and I don't have a bank account together either and we are splitting the costs as well. He gave me a big chunk of money to put into my savings account and I have been using that to purchase the small stuff from Michaels and Dollar store.. I have yet to put money into the savings besides the $1 that goes in for every debt transaction :eek: We decided to put a certain amount of money in my savings every month since I'm the one making purchases. Maybe you can workout something like that with your FI.
