  1. I purchased these bracelets. I will wear one on each arm. I bought them from misunbridal.com.
  2. We have a family friend who is our TA. However, there was only one flight we wanted so we just booked it ourselves. Our group can get airfare from her or on their own initiative, but we didn't get any group rate because we have people coming from all over the world, not from one main place. We will be getting travel insurance through her just to be safe (after I talked to her, I decided to just get it).
  3. This was so helpful!! Thanks so much!!! DAILY PROGRAM 2011.pdf NIGHTLY PROGRAM.pdf
  4. I should have said though that I fell in love with my dress in October 2011 and didn't buy it until July 2012 - so I also gave myself time to make sure that it was 100% the one! I also tried on A LOT of other dresses to be absolutely certain.
  5. I also booked my flight on AirTran a couple nights ago! Such a relief! I read on a bunch of places online that AirTran is not too flexible with the gowns, but one person suggested packing it in a garment bag, another suggested buying priority boarding (which I did) because then you have a better chance of either getting it in the flight attendent closet or having enough room in the overhead bins.
  6. I am so sorry to hear about your grandfather!! And, I am sorry to hear about the stress you are under! We are totally hear to listen!!
  7. You look STUNNING! I love that dress on you! I say bring the belt with you to the wedding and you can decide then. The dress looks beautiful both ways, but at least if you don't sew it in you can decide later whether to use it or not. Plus, I think the ribbon in the back is pretty!! GORGEOUS!!
  8. I also thought that there was a day BBQ beach party at the Suites on Thursday, a bonfire party at the Beach Resort on Thursday, and a bonfire party at the Suites Resort on Saturday. Are you saying that there is not a bonfire? Do you know if it is during the day or the evening?
  9. Thanks for letting us know! If someone gets it, please share!
  10. AirTran is the only nonstop to Jamaica from DC. We don't want to worry about missing a layover on our wedding weekend. Plus they have great times for flights. I need to talk to my TA abt travel insurance bc if we don't have any layovers I just don't see the point. Although I am sure she is going to argue for it. I guess I would more so do it for the emergency medical insurance it can offer. I will need to think about that.
  11. Thank you all for your help. With regard to the daily activities list, it was more so that I could plan welcome drinks and then I believe go to the bonfire at the beach resort on Thursday, but I wanted to check to make sure this was right. I also thought I would let people know about the different activities. I heard that there is a BBQ on the beach at the Suites that I believe is on Thursday. I just wanted to check. Happy planning all!
  12. In case anyone else has been eagerly awaiting: AirTran has finally released its May 2013 schedule/prices! I have been following the prices for plane tickets since early summer and the prices have slowly going up and up so that now they are $100 more than they were in the summer. Have you all bought your plane tickets yet? I am trying to decide should I just buy or hope they go down... (Although I quite nervous that they will keep going up and up). Also, have you all bought travel insurance? I can't decide if it is worth it because I figure that so many people are coming for us and so almost anything would keep us going there...
  13. Two big questions: 1) Does anyone have a daily activity list for IRHS and IRHB?? I would like to start formulating our week schedule based off of the activities they have going on at the resorts, but I don't want to bug the WCs. If no one has one, I will email the resort when it gets closer. 2) Cost question: Do we pay the cost of the wedding and the reception dinner when we get to the resort? And, is that put on credit card? Also, how about the flowers (Tai Flora) and musicians. Do they all take credit card or cash and when do we pay them? I am just wondering what to plan for. I even ordered a no foreign transaction fee card for all of these expenses! Again, if no one knows this answer, I will ask the WC as it gets closer. Sorry for all the questions on a Saturday morning! Hope everyone is having a great time planning!! Court
  14. I LOVE these! I wish I had seen these before I ordered mine 'cause I could have saved $500! I will post a picture of mine once I get them in a couple weeks!
  15. You look AMAZING in this dress! Great fit! I was always so nervous about mermaid/trumpet style dresses on me (this is a mermaid or trumpet right?), but it looks GREAT on you! Maybe I should have tried on more! Although, I love my dress for me so thankfully I don't have regrets. BEAUTIFUL!
  16. I LOVEEEE this dress! I really love the blush but I probably would have gone with the ivory - you are only get married in a white dress once! LOVE LOVE LOVE! Great choice!
  17. Wow! Now I want to be Canadian! That tradition sounds fun! Although, it sounds like a lot of work to put it together!
