  1. We are doing a "green" grocery bag as our OOT bag - it's orange (bright orange!). I scored them from another bride here on BDW. I'm doing a little survival kit with immodium, tylenol, advil, antibacterial gel, shout wipes, lip balm, and hoping to find some sunscreen wipes and aloe too. Putting in a door hanger (do not disturb), a wedding day timeline, welcome letter, and an insulated tumbler (cup) too. I don't have pics - it's all a big pile right now. I'm not going to assemble them until we have a final number (or close to final) of our guests. The DIY I'm doing for them is using a brown lunch bag with a punched scalloped edge as the survival kit, with a scroll label on it. then doing little tags for the tumblers (they will have vinyl labels on them with our logo), and a tag for the bag itself. fairly simple overall, but we think we'll have around 40ish guests, so we had to keep it affordable..
  2. sure, I can send them out tomorrow, and Paypal rocks. I'll send you a PM.
  3. hey Shan! I got them from PickYourPlum.com - they have daily "crafty supply" type sales. The tags came in a variety of colors per pack. Quote: Originally Posted by shan0487 hey girl! Where did you get the tags from?
  4. If it's just those, and you're ok with regular 1st class postage, they should be good with a .45 or .65 cent stamp. If you'd like priority mail, it'd be a little more expensive.
  5. I'm planning to do these too. Got the leds, still waiting on the batteries. Hoping those come this week so we can give them a try.
  6. Johnny Depp!! sausage or hot dogs?
  7. Are you having your dress altered? If so, it might be worth it to have them add gel cups to the dress itself. They were pretty inexpensive for me (compared to all of the other alterations...), and added a nice cup size. I got a regular long-line strapless bra from David's, am adding the cups, and they are going to stitch the bra into the dress (to be sure the cups don't peek out over the neckline of the dress. I'm a big girl, and needed the extra control of the bra to help my dress contain some curves - but I'd bet many petite girls really wouldn't need the bra at all, especially if you go the gel cup route.
  8. hi and welcome! We are bringing paper lanterns with us, but not the tiki torches. and decided against renting them from Lomas, just not something we want to pay for. You do have a large group - awesome!!!! I have an SOB as well - she's not going. My BOB is going, so I guess 50% isn't bad lol
  9. They are 4.5" x 9" I believe - right around those measurements.
  10. My invites are out and many of our guests have already received them. Even have 1 RSVP back from a friend who's even more OCD than I am lol Today I'm working on the Tears of Joy packets for the ceremony. My ink is running and it's driving me crazy! what are you guys up to?

  15. Have you already bought a different dress? if not, an experienced wedding dress seamstress can chop that train right off for you... and it'll look like it was meant to be floor length vs. a train. just a thought!
