You have to really be sure to get REAL real touch flowers, silks and other "faux" flowers are just not the same! I have posted my centrepiece but not on the centre piece thread, prolly one of the canadian threads. I wanted height so I have opted for 8" hurricane vases that will be filled with sand and shells on the top and in them will be 3.5ft grasses like reeds thats I picked up. Sounds really strange but I really like the look of it, its very natural and different from traditional flowers or candles. We are having one long table so height in the centrepiece was important to me while still allowing people to talk around it!

It's a SERIOUS issue lol and all the GM are hockey players too so it simply will NOT work!!!! The le chateau ones are just too small!!!! I opted for Old Navy linen pants as they were on sale for like $15. I haven't received them yet but we will see how they fit once they arrive!!!! I have used a disposable underwater camera on previous trips and they are great!

I bought the packs of pepto chewable they come in blister packed sheets of 6 and then I put two in a mini craft zipper bag and created my own bag topper. Another option is they come in 12 packs same way (I bought 48 packs). I first bought the 12 packs but then the 48s were cheaper they come in a box so you could do an individual of the 12 packs each. Congratulations and welcome to the forum, everyone has already provided you with some GREAT advice. I don't think a spring wedding is too ambitious but you know your guests better than anyone. We told everyone almost as soon as we got engaged so that they could keep the idea in the back of their heads. I think the sooner you give your guests your date and a pricing idea the better as it allows them to save, book holidays and prepare. That being said you have to tackle the MOST difficult part of the planning... choosing your destination and resort. Once that is out of the way get your save the dates (or invites we by passed save the dates and just did invites) out ASAP so that people can prepare. Also the sooner you get them out the sooner you'll get your answers and a better idea of how many people you can expect! Keep us posted on your decision!!!!!!

Celtic Girl - I have been getting a TON of PMs from other users asking me to send them templates. I understand where they are coming from but I am getting a little sick of logging on every time with 3 or 4 PMs for my templates! That being said I also HATE the "filler" messages that clog up all the threads with users just trying to reach their 150. The "nice" "Like it" "good job" are just SO ANNOYING. I think it is important to contribute effectively to the forums! I think paying the $30 is fair if you respect the forum and the value it has! In the end it is your choice, to be honest I have let some of the msgs in my inbox sit there as I don't have the patience anymore to spend 15 minutes emailing people when I just want to catch up on some of the threads!!! A little bit of a vent but I feel your pain!

Even once your bags are sealed and done you STILL find things to add!!!! I am awful about it. All the survival kits were staples shut and I opened them all!!!!!!!! Oh well, I am so excited to give the OOTs to our guests I can hardly contain myself!!! MJKH - let me know what templates you are looking for. Nothing drives me more crazy than the "very nice" "cool" "looks good" comments that clog up the other threads!!!! It is a fair suggestion Jackie but can be REALLY annoying!!! The point is to provide useful information to help one another in this process. Getting updates for threads that are really just "noobs" trying to reach junior status is sooooo frustrating!! Don't mean to be mean about it, we've all been there trying to reach our 150 but you are better to follow threads like this one that promote discussion and really be an active member as you have been on here so far!!! Thanks soooo much!!!! The first is a "composite flower" they take one flower (usually a rose - not in the picture though) and then take apart others of the same flower and individually wire them together. I love it but I don't think it would work so well with real touch flowers....... I may stick with my calla lillies now that I have decided on centrepieces (not using our bouquets as originally planned) Thanks for the input with regards to the dress!!! It means a lot you remember and will be honest that is exactly what I need. My dress is not sleek and simple so a sleek and simple flower would prolly be best. The peonies look as ruffly as the dress lol Thanks
