@@smileitseb do a wire to the hotel bank, I will cost you nothing. Cheers!

yes they are an outside vendor and will charge you the outside vendor fee, Adrian told me he are hiring a place close so people can go out, get things done in their salon and get back to their hotels, check with him that option
By the way 350US for an outside vendor is a deal, Karisma and Iberostar charges 1,000us!!!

@@IvanLuckiePhotography Thank you for this break down! When you say the hottest.. is it unbearbale hot in August. I.E. sand it to hot to walk barefoot. Sun burn in less than 10 minutes if not protected? I want ot hold the ceremony on the beach. Is that a bad idea for August?
Mainly the feeling in your body and air, sand white does not get hot, but concrete yes! and of course sun burns during any time of the year from 11am to 2pm will burn your skin in 30 minutes, you need to protect
I would definitely have it as the sun is going down
The prefect time is 3-2 hours before sunset, the latest the better but you need to do portraits and the best light is 2-3 hours before sunset, at least for what I like to do

Here you go!
- January to march (low season) it is cold (min15 night and Day max 27 CDegrees) and rains a bit
- April and May (busy season) are hot but not full humid )(35 CD), It rains very rare, just be careful during the 2 weeks of holy week It is busiest
- June to November is Rainy and hurricane season, June until august is the hottest and most humid months and November is busy month
- December is warm at day and a bit cold at night and it is busy season (min15 night and Day max 27 CDegrees)
Hope this helps

Most popular is Symbolic wedding if you can change it, Civil authorities are regularly boring and have to do it in Spanish, so no one will smile, of course you will have some one translating as well apathetic
cheers!

I just wanted to update that Karisma Hotels listened to the concerns of their brides and they did update their outside vendor policy.
There outside vendor policy is (this is only if you do not use a vendor from their approved vendor list):
Your vendor needs to stay at the resort as a guest for a minimum 3 nights
---OR---
Pay an $800 outside vendor fee.
--------------------------------
i thought this would be a good place to post warnings about resorts in Cancun and Riviera Maya.
Right now i am not happy with El Dorado Royale Suites and the Karisma resorts and will not send any of my wedding business there until they change their vendor policies. It is a high end resort and not a cheap place to get married and they are making it nearly impossible for brides and grooms to bring in outside vendors.
Some of the most beautiful wedding pictures i have seen taken at El Dorado were done by outside wedding photographers.
Why would you spend tens of thousands of dollars to get married there just to have mediocre pictures?
if you are in support of boycotting El Dorado Royale and Karisma resorts because if their outside vendor policy, post here and tell them what you think of their policy!
Tammy thank you!!! this is great! Iberostar also has a out of this world policy fee of $1,000US per outside vendor, do you know if Brides did complain about this?

@@talicea7812 in the Peninsula de Yucatan there is around 10,000 cenotes, in the riviera Maya around 2,000, probably just known but tourist and accesible around 100, each year i search for options, I spend a day in each one of them and as many as I can in a week, just few works for natural light and some other for artificial or both.
You can find some amazing ones but takes up to 4 hours to get them between highways, roads and paths, the same time the way back. Some others just 30 minutes depending on clients staying location.
And probably in many you can find the best of all cenote worlds because It also depends on the clients swim and dive skills
Here some samples of Cenotes and the results in certain hour time of the day
I am looking for one cenote in particular...and really hoping that one of the locals will come through and divulge the secret. I am getting married at Azul beach in april. the hotel has terrible outside vendor fees so I wasn't able to afford some of the best Mexico photographers! their prices coupled with the $800 outside vendor fee put them totally out of reach. I will be flying in my own photographer from home & hoping to do a TTD in a cenote. She is a good friend and while taking my wedding/TTD pics, hoping to build her portfolio! We have looked through many TTD session pics and are totally in love with the ones featuring this "cavelike" opening. Can anyone identify the area? Any help would be much appreciated!
@@talicea7812 this is why you must have to work with a local one, hard to find great places, some of them have price to shoot,, need to call in advance and make sure It will not have tourist around, some of them, depending on the day will make your session a nightmare, some charge for the session and are really expensive, what you save probably will pay there and most important there is an agreement and foreign photographers without paperwork will not be able to access and do a session, take into consideration, cheers!

As I have said many times, DJ is the most important, keeping up the people and having great lighting, this will be reflected in your pictures, If you care of course, so I think there are 2 great options in the Riviera Maya, Cancun disco movil and Doremixx, remember this is my opinion and must be good ones or aceptable
Cheers!

@@TheBHolders In my experience and not saying in any way DWC is bad, I think DJ is a fact for a great reception because of the ability to keep the people up and dancing at top and lighting I would go for:
Cancun Disco Movil
Doremixx
There are more out there but I had never seen any one as good as they yet or probably I didn't take attention
Cheers!

here is the list of the top 20 Riviera Maya Photographers (actually Cancun but distances are relatively close within Riviera Maya)
http://www.bridebox.com/blog/top-20-wedding-photographers-cancun/
I recommend to follow this suggestions in the order:
- Make sure you LOVE photographers, Vision and Style
- Make sure photographer is real, wide experience in the field as main photographer, Skype/facetime
- check references as well as reviews but reviews/references are personal point of view
- make sure you read all the information the photographer offers to have most of your expectations clear
- Check prices, If you can pay, you are up for the photographer

Investigate who the photographer is, check portfolio, don't forget the photographer background, many of those photographers were doing other jobs than photography. If I were you, knowing photography is the most important part of your wedding, because you said so, I wouldn't mind to spend the cost of another real photographer that handles pictures from beginning to end, an artist not a picture maker
