  1. Sandy, bringing a photog from USA and take out 2 cameras, one big bag of accessories and  big flashes will make the resort open their eyes that that is a "guest" working.

to be honest Sascha and Juan a a good option and deal do not know why to play with a guy that are asking for a small vacations, good photographers does not ask for that, USA photog are more expensive than the ones we have here, assuming USA and local have equal or similar quality levels, this is due that live in USA is a way more expensive than live in Mexico,

Be careful with your selections, also, what you see about pictures online of an specific photog, usually looks fine, printing them is another story.

    Good luck!

I went to weather.com to look up the forecast today to get an idea of what the weather will be like next month. And what do I see the THUNDERSTORMS everyday for the next 2 weeks!!!! I know there are a couple of you who have been to Mexico during the month of September... any words of advice? how was your experience! I'm trying not to freak out, but I mean AHHHH

:) do not worry, the weather forecast always says there is a 60% chance of raining, and 90% of the times it does not rain according the forecast, it may rain of course, but do not worry ahead of time, all the decisions regarding raining are made on the wedding day.

    good luck!

  3. Kaye, if you send any package that it is not carried out by you, will go through customs, as CHina goods are restricted in Mexico if you want to cross them to Mexico it will cost you up to 500% their cost, I recommend you to take them with you and try to flight with as many people family, friends, relatives as possible in the same plane/flight, because you can bring to Mexico $300USD in goods per person, you you will have to count the people and sum the amount, but be careful if the things your guest bring with them are not included in the "franchise" (this is the name of the documents that says what you can and can not bring toMexico without paying or paying)

split the package in small packages so the guest can have one in the time they go through customs.

at the end she they know you will have your wedding here they may made an exception.
