I watched it & thought she looked lovely but I preferred what her sister was wearing. I thought they both looked terrified. Can just imagine them on the way back to the palace saying to each other, lets get indoors & get the real wedding party started. LOL xx

Hi Ashley, Bridal shops can be a bit intimidating. I went in a couple that were really busy & I felt like everyone was watching & judging each dress I tried on. Which of course they were, but probably in a good way. I felt quite insecure about the whole thing but then found a small bridal shop where there were only 2 shop assistants & I instantly felt relaxed. I guess I felt the opposite to how you do & I felt I could relax more not having everyone look at me when I came out of the changing room. Maybe if you take a couple of friends with you, it wont feel so quiet & you may not feel so anxious if you've got people your relaxed around with you. xx

Hi Leasexy, I love the first one too but just didn't feel very bridal in it. It's ideal for a destination weddding but I wanted to have that walking on air feeling, which the second one gave me. The dress you've picked is stunning. xx

Hi Kerry, I dont think it looks at all frumpy. It's a real princess look & is so flattering, but I can see why you'd like the first picture, that's beautiful too. Have you tried the first picture one on at all? I can see why you're in two minds. This probably isn't going to help you at all but if possible, I would try both on & see how you feel. Can you take someone with you who will give you a really honest opinion? I really struggled for ages but ended up going for the one that made me feel like a princess, which is how we all want to feel on our big day. xx

Ahh thanks hun. I loved the back of the first one too. I might see about having it dyed & shortened to an evening dress or something. I absolutely love the one i've gone with. It makes me feel so special. I think the shop are sick to death of seeing me. I must have tried the sample on about 5 times now!! LOL Looking forward to seeing the pics. Hi Kerry, I know exactly what you're going through. I've bought 3 dresses now. The first was a copy one I saw on Ebay. Needless to say, when it arrived it wasnt up the the quality I'd expected. The second was a destination wedding dress (below). but for some reason I just didnt feel very 'bridal' in it. I ummed & ahhed for ages & went to try on some others & found my ideal one. It's everything I thought I didn't want, but when I tried it on I fell in love with it. Because I'd already bought 2 I walked away but couldn't get it out of my head so ended up going back & buying it. This is the one I've decided to go with. If you cant stop thinking about it, maybe it's the one for you. xx

Hi Girls, Hope your all well. I’ve been having a nightmare with my TA. We paid in full last week & tried to book our seats. For some reason, which I still cant get to the bottom of, there’s a problem. We’re down as having booked World Traveller Plus & having upgraded, but we haven’t. We’re now having problems getting the ‘upgrade’ taken off. BA & the TA promised us all would be resolved today, but nope. We’re now waiting for them to call us tomorrow. It’s not a huge problem as we don’t fly til August 1st but I’m terrified of flying & want to be sure our seats are over the wing. Apparently you don’t feel any turbulence as much there. Not sure how true this is mind. Anyway moan over. @Nicy, Thanks for the add on FB. Looks like you had a great time on both your hen nights. @Michelle – I know where you’re coming from about the Royal Wedding. I’m only interested in her dress too. LOL. Sounds like you’re going to have a great night on Saturday. Looking forward to seeing the pics. @Ashley – Welcome back. I’ve also been trying to lose a little weight but it’s not going so well. As soon as I tell myself to cut down the rubbish I’m suddenly fantasing about battered sausage & chips. LOL. I’d love to say that the dresses & bags are mine, they’re stunning aren’t they, but they belong to Herbie76. We only have 6 people (including us) so there are no bridesmaids much to the dismay of my SIL. She really wanted her 3 yr old twin boys to be paige boys & 6 year old daughter to be bridesmaid. I think she’s over it now, but still tries to get the odd dig in. @Waybuloo – The suprise hen party sounds fantastic. Loving the Mexican theme @Lyndsey – Not sure about the engagement ring thing. I was in two minds as to what to do as well. I’ve known people wear their E ring on the other hand & add it their wedding finger after the ceremony & others who’ve worn it as normal. That doesn’t really help you does it? LOL. @Char79UK - Thanks for the welcome. I’ve been loitering around for a little while. You’re so right, this site has so much advice & information.
