Does anyone know anything about Royal Hideaway, specifically the weddings done there??? We have been all set for awhile, getting married at The Royal in Cancun, and then at our e-party the other day, my FH’s Uncle, who is in the hotel business, pulls us aside and tells us that if we want to get married at Royal Hideaway, he can get us a HEFTY discount. I am having about 100 people, wanted it in a ballroom and have been working with The Royal for awhile on this so I wanted to get thoughts on anyone who has had their wedding at Royal Hideaway. Way to throw a wrench into the plans, Uncle Arty. Lol Let me know!

I am looking into them for some centerpieces too.... I think that is a good price for the tree and candles!

Oh, and I'm having mine in one of their ballrooms. There are def places that can accomodate that many!

I am having mine at The Royal in Cancun, I am having about 100 guests. They have really great packages for up to 50 people, then you pay per head (and the cost isn't bad at all). Our reasons were similar, I'm from Long Island and the costs for an at home wedding with so many ppl on the guest list was nutsss!!!

They are awesome! Those shoes seriously want to make me change my entire color scheme so I could wear them lol

Hey- I am getting married at the Royal Cancun, so it is the same WC's and I know they are not allowing me to send anything at all prior to the wedding. I have begged because I am having a very large wedding there and really need to send stuff down but Ana, my WC said it isn't permitted there and they won't accept it. Let me know if you have luck with The Royal PDC!

I'm getting married @ the Royal in 2012. I have been working with them for a quite awhile because my original wedding date was April 2011. They will allow you to bring the steel band, there is an outside vendor fee of an additional $350 (I think!) for anything you decide to bring in. As for the horse and carraige, after knowing the WC's there and having put in some requests, I think they would think you were nuts for even asking lol. They won't know what to do with a request like that. (I think it is SUCH a cute idea though!) Â If you need any other Royal Cancun info, let me know and I'll try to help

Cin you are the best!!!! I want to buy the white aisle runner when you get back- The Royal told me they didn't have one when I asked for white instead of the red so I def wanna use yours.
