I met with DJ Ricardo and his brother when I was in Cabo for my site visit in September. DJ ricardo is going to be deejaying my wedding @ Dreams on 10/07 and so we got to watch him DJ a wedding at the resort before we hired him. His brother was working with him that night and when Ricardo left the wedding for about 15 minutes to meet with my fiance and I, his brother took over for him. I'm sure his brother would do a good job because Ricardo told us that he frequently comes to weddings with him and helps out. Although he probably is not as experienced as Ricardo and I think his english was not as good, I'm sure Ricardo wouldn't let him deejay alone if he didn't think he could. Is he willing to maybe discount the price for you since Ricardo himself is not available?

Yes, thanks ladies. It makes me feel better too. I know that they are busy, but I do wish it wouldn't take them 3 weeks to write back :/ Magdalena keeps emailing me saying she will respond the following day and never does.

I got an email from her this evening too. She says she will get back to me in the morning with answers to my questions in my original email.

I am also getting married @ Dreams this fall. I have been having a really hard time getting Magdalena to reply to my emails as well. Proti, are you cooresponding with her by a new email address? She wrote me an email last week saying she would respond to the email I sent her 2 weeks ago from a new address, but I never got anything from her. Today I tried sending her an email to the new address, but the email would not go through. @ KiwiBride- Wow, your wedding date is sooo close!!! How are you feeling?

Ricardo Patino is actually going to dj my wedding in October. My fiance and I met with him in September and actually got to see him dj a wedding @ Dreams while we were there. He seems to be good @ what he does and his prices were very reasonable. Also, he is very quick to respond to emails which is something I have a hard time with since planning the DW.

I did actually. We are using EM Weddings. www.emweddings.com. We met with one of the photographers, Esther, while we were in Cabo in September. THey do good work! Are you looking for a photographer in Cabo too?

I am also doing teal for my color but will be accenting with white and raspberry pink. I am using the white callas and a few pink lilies. The orange and teal looks very pretty! Perfect colors for a beach wedding!

Any idea if there is more than 1 ballroom for a reception? They list "ballrooms" on their website, but only show a picture of one??

My fiance and I got engaged in April and have decided to get married next year in Cabo, MX. We vacationed in Cabo last yr and fell in love with it. We've been working with a TA/ Wedding specialist and are now trying to decide b/w Melia Cabo Real and the Dreams. If anyone has gotten married at either of these and has any feedback they would like to share, it would def be appreciated!!! Thanks!
