I can't wait to change my name! My last name is SO common, and I can't wait to stop using my middle name to show that I'm not someone else. I am not disappointed at all to lose my current last name!

Mocha, I've been practicing a little bit too. My last name will be starting with a Y as oppose to the W it is now (yes, super thrilled that I'm going backwards in the alphabet...I didn't think that was possible!). I'm going to have a heck of a time with my new last name just because of the Y. I sign my name so much at work, that it shouldn't take too much time.... I hope!

Rachel, on the previous page (I think it is) someone (maybe Stephy) posted pictures of the two different private reception options. The good thing for you, Stephy is have hers at La Laguna and I'm having mine at Gran Azul at the end of April, so you'll get a review on both in the next month and a half! Stephy, 5 more sleeps...oy! I would be SO freaked out! I totally get the "losing sleepy piece," I hope you get some sleep in the next 5 days though! We got our "invoice" from GP tonight. Hi Rachel! Welcome and congrats!! With that many guests, I believe dawn is correct. Double check with the WC though. For the music, the dinner and dancing is at the same place for the private reception. You can bring your iPod and they have the cord to connect it to the speakers they provide. They also provide a microphone with the other two pieces, already mentioned.

Yes, I was the one with a very short to-do list.... that's the bad part of it, I don't have a lot to do, so I was just thinking that because we had the extra fabric from the BM dresses, I could use it as chair sashes... I'm sorry to hear about your family... it does totally stink.. I know I was really disappointed when I found out that my brother wasn't going to be able to go. It's a tough situation to have no family there, I hope your parents can at least find a way to go.... Otherwise I know it will put a damper on things, just remember...you are marrying the one for you and the two of you being there is the most important thing...

Hey ladies!!! I just got home a little while ago from my bridal shower! It was so much fun!! My girls treated me so well!! I couldn't have asked for a better day with friends and family!! Now I have to work on wedding stuff....and I just don't have the ambition...which is REALLY bad!

Jwetli - I've pretty much had the same relationship with my WC... I hear from her once a week if I'm lucky, and she is SO bad at responding. I've heard that's how they do it at our resort, and we just take care of most everything when we arrive. So, I wouldn't worry about it. Because of my relationship with the WC (or lack there of), I have decided to not bring anything for her as a gift.. Call me mean, but I can't see doing it when I have such a hard time getting her to respond! Lisa - I am not bringing anything... I have stressed to everyone that we do not want any gifts from those going down with us. Hopefully they will all go with that and we won't have to worry about it... Greys - Sounds like you had a good night....though it turned into a bad morning!! Good luck with your appointment today to get things fixed with your dress!!

I agree Tenny, don't stress about it! The only thing we have done is decided on the date, time, and location for our Okay ladies, I brought my dress to the other seamstress and she's going to fix it, as much as she can..... There are parts that can't be fixed, so I'm just going to deal with those....since I don't have any other choice.... :-( Luckily when one of the pins fell out....yes, the other lady forgot to take all of her pins out...the part that was like 2 inches higher fell some, so that looks better... either way, my dress will be done by April 1st she said, so that's good! I feel better already!

Okay so wow, I just came back to 102 posts to read! You ladies were crazy on here yesterday afternoon while I was stuck working!! So much to comment on, that I don't even know what it all was!!! I should have taken notes! This morning FI and I went and put the deposit down for our AHR venue, and I just loved it. It is nothing special, but it's just perfect for what we want! They gave us the paperwork for the menu options, and they are also perfect for what I eat (I'm so picky)! Other than that...the thermometer in my car this morning said 61!!! That's exciting for March 18th, in Vermont!!

Brandy, absolutely amazing! I was going through your whole thread with a girl I work with and she just couldn't believe everything. Looking at it all together, I can't believe it either!! It's crazy to me that you leave in just 13 days.... I leave 6 weeks from yesterday, and it felt so far away until I saw your post and totally got goosebumps.... You did a fantastic job with everything, and reminded me of another thing I need to do (letters/notes to my MOH and bridesmaids!). You rock and deserve all this happiness that I know you are going to experience!
