Hi Shelby, and welcome to the forum. I just joined on Tuesday and was having the same problem with navagating for what I was looking for. I would recommend setting some time aside to really start navagating. With little searching, you should start finding what you are looking for! There are many different forums with lots of good information and documents to help you! I especially recommend the "to-do-list" that is posted somewhere... I'll find it and come back to tell you!

So, I'm relatively new with the DW scene.. My FI and I originally planned on a big church wedding here at home, but due to circumstances, we have decided to change our idea and go with a DW!!! I've been working with a TA through a local office and I've become bothered with the way she provides me information. I don't feel like she's being upfront and completely honest with me based on "estimates" and then actual prices. I guess ultimately, I'm looking for someone who may be familiar with this resort, who can help....

Thank you so much for this list! I've been trying to find something like this since we are just in the beginning stages and we were originally going with the traditional church wedding. I didn't know where to start with many things, but this helps SO much!

This is the same question I have been coming up with. Within the last month we decided to change our plans from a big church wedding to a destination wedding (since there were outstanding issues that were taking too long to resolve with the church). I personally plan on doing the STDs which I'm working on doing now, and then doing an informal invitation or an evite. I agree with the other girls though, that's the beauty of a DW, you can do what YOU want, there are now real guidelines (or so I feel)!!

Hello all! I came across this site today while working on wedding stuff. My name is Erin, and my FI and I are getting married April 30, 2011 in Riviera Maya, Mexico. We have decided on Grand Palladium Kantenah, which came highly recommended from a friend who was married at this resort a few years ago! I'm very excited and slightly overwhelmed by all of the things I need to consider! Anyway, I am excited and can't wait for the next 10 months to go by fast!!!
