I feel like I have been missing for the last week or so. Work has been so busy with my three different bosses trying to get so much packed into my three weeks I have left at work, and they are not full weeks, thankfully! I'm off today because I had to take FI to the hospital this morning for a procedure (nothing major)... It's worked out perfectly though because we were back home by like 11:00, and now I'm just relaxing! I've been have some problems with one of my eyes thanks to a contact messing up my eye, so it's nice to just hang out at home with my glasses on and not having to really go anyway else now. Oh, and we are suppose to get a big snow storm tomorrow. I'd like to think it's just an April fools joke...but I'm afraid it may not be!!! We are suppose to get like 10" of snow...Doesn't mother nature know it's spring time?! Anyway, I've been able to keep up with you ladies, I just haven't posted much. Lisa, I really like your dress. I think it came out nicely with all the different pieces you pulled from other dresses. I think it's a great dress for the TTD session. I really like the ruffles!! For those of you feeling crappy, I hope you get better before you have to leave. It seems like whenever I travel I'm sick... I'm hoping not to get that way this time. Mocha, I'm also really excited for you to finally get home! You'll be able to get your ring back right?? I know you haven't had it for quite some time...

Lisa, although the process for the koozies sounded terrible, I'm glad things worked out for you! I have to rant about my WC.... So, she emails me last week and says that she wants to make our appointment when we arrive for the morning of 4/27, since we were arrive 4/26. I emailed her back and told her we were not arriving on 4/26, I had changed that with our previous WC (who has left). I told her that we arrive about mid-day on the 27th. I told her that I needed to know when she wanted to meet with us because we had a spa appointment set up for 4/28 in the morning. Well, she emailed me back yesterday and was not happy because us arriving on the 27th "changes all kinds of things." She said that we needed to change our spa appointment because she thinks that it might be more important to us that we finalize things for the wedding than relaxing. Now, had she worded things a little differently (and no, it was not the language barrier), I would not have gotten a little ticked with her with that comment. I mean, of course the details of the wedding are more important than the spa appointment, but I have spent over $300 on our spa appointments (FI and I both are have 80 minute massages and something else), so I want to make sure I know when I can change my appointment FOR! Anyway, I told her I would change the appointment. So, she then emails me and says that we must meet on the 27th first thing because she needs everything finalized by noon on the 27th. Well, I'm very frustrated at this point because we arrive in Cancun at 1:05 PM on 4/27, there is no possible way that we can meeting before noon, we'll be in the air! So, I told her that we were originally informed by the other WC that it was okay for us to come on the 27th because we are not doing a legal ceremony, we are doing a renewal of the vows. I told her that this should have been addressed with us prior to a month before the wedding if there were certain things necessary. Anyway, I have emailed the Spa and emailed the WC, and I'm just waiting to hear back from them. I'm absolutely frustrated at this point with the WC.... Okay, thanks for the vent!

I'm definitely grateful that he is helping, don't get me wrong. I haven't asked him to do much, and he has helped when I ask him... I'm actually haven't him start a bigger list for our AHR that we'll be having in July. It's just that we are getting to crunch time and I need to get this list done so we can download the songs... Meggers, I'm sorry to hear about the situation with your stepdad. I hope everything works out for him, that's such a scary thing...

Yes, they do. I just received mine last week for our wedding next month (one month from today!!!!!). I did all of my "ordering" via email. Rachel, this sounds right. With that many people attending you cannot do anything other than a private dinner from what Rocio has told me. I'm pretty sure anything over 40, you HAVE to do a private dinner. The pp dinner cost all depends on what menu option you pick. When we picked ours, the cheapest on they had was 50 usd/pp. I think the highest is like 65 usd/pp.

Okay, so first of all, I know everyone else seems to be counting by days.... but I'm still counting by month. HOWEVER, that ends today!!!!! We are exactly one month away from the wedding!! I'm so excited! I love that we are getting so close so when my boss is talking about training I need to provide to other employees, she keeps saying, it's going to be right before your trip, are you sure you really want to do it before? It's a great sound! Anyway... Tenny, I know you probably won't see this until you get back now, but CONGRATS!!! I hope you have a fantastic time and everything works out just perfectly!! Tisha, I'm sure even if it's just a bar in DC on a Friday night, that it will be a lot of fun!! Last night I was able to get half of the bags tagged... FI said he'd do the rest, but we'll see! Kiwi, I'm sorry to hear about the flower girl... That's terrible that she's been sick for so long, I hope she'll be okay. I know it stinks that they are just telling you about it now, but I'm sure they didn't expect her to be sick for so long.... Laura, that's absolutely a great story for your get together over the weekend! I always love surprises like that!!! I'm sure it was an absolute blast!!! Brandy, I can't believe you leave so soon!!! I hate dealing with people when they are acting like that... They think the world has never experienced anything when they are going through it. I haven't been on since Friday afternoon.... I worked on my tags for my OOT Bags today, and have those done. Very simple, just printed them off on Word using a template I found on here. Now I just have to finish that stinking play list....it's going to be the death of me, I swear!! I hope everyone has had a great weekend!

Wow ladies, it's been a very quiet day! I expected a whole lot more action today! I picked up my dress today and I'm so happy with how it turned out. Something new came up today...I was going to originally have a permanent bustle but the seamstress this time made it as an option and now I'm thinking I may let the train down for the ceremony, I just have decided. There is so much beading on the train, and it's absolutely beautiful! So, that's something I've gotta figure out in the next month!

Okay fine.. I'll do the countdown too.... It's slightly depressing compared to everyone else's though.... Days of work: 18 Days until my bachelorette party: I don't know, it's a surprise from my girls Days until we leave: 34 Days until we get married: 36

Good for you for being mostly calm!! I hope everything goes well today and you are able to pick it up... Hopefully it will look good and all your worries will go away! I get to pick my dress up on Saturday at the latest! I may be able to go tomorrow afternoon and get it! SO excited! Good point on the dress. My one hesitation is that my parents would have to take it in order for it to go on US Air's plane, and I don't know how I feel about not bringing it with me. Though, I just realized that I have to bring it with me, because it needs to get steamed in time and that won't happen if it comes with my mom because she arrives the day before the wedding! I'm so glad we just talked this out!

Greys, I had missed your post after mine, but I'm so glad to hear things came back negative. That is such a scary situation. It didn't set the mood I'm sure, but at least you received good information in the end. I have two people in my family (mother and grandmother-not my mom's mom) who have had breast cancer, and it's just such a terrible thing (as any cancer is). Yay for the good news and the flowing drinks!! Hopefully you are able to get your clothes and high heels outta the trunk soon! How bad would that look if FI opened your trunk to find just that stuff?! That would be awkward and you'd have some explaining to do!!!! Either way - this is just for you!

Brandy, I am so sorry to hear that about your dress. I wouldn't wish something like I experienced on anyone, and even though yours is a little different, it's no better. When are you suppose to be able to get your dress?? I can't believe you are this close and your dress isn't ready...I would be freaking out (which I'm sure you are doing).... I hope they are able to get it ALL right this time and you don't have to go with a dress you aren't happy with... =( If nothing else, at least you can look forward to not having to go to work for awhile again after tomorrow! That's something to look forward to!! Oh, you are flying US Air, so I can ask you... Did you ever find out if they have a place to put your wedding dress, like a closet or something?

Sherri, I'm glad to hear your book arrived!! That is a cool idea about keep the other book and looking at it in like 25 years! I think that would be cool. Meggers, I'm sure your pictures are beautiful, I had to scroll through them really quick so people at work didn't come by and be like WTF Erin?! I'll look at them when I get home tonight! I'm sure you have nothing to worry about with the ex being a langerie model...he's marrying you right?! Clearly if that's the case not only does he think your body is hot, but clearly you have a better personality than her too!! Stay positive girl, try not to let the mind wander like that!! How is everyone doing out there?? It's been pretty quiet! Things are going pretty well on my end. I had a little tiff with FI last Friday and the kids kind of were pulled into it (not them personally, just doing things for them). FI got mad at me because I was complaining that I don't get any help around the house (he's been out of work Since the middle of February), and that it would just be nice to come home from a 9-10 hour day and not have chores to do. He said that we always have the boys when they are there, and I said no, they should be responsible for cleaning the house when they aren't always at the house. As it progressed, he said that he wished I would just stop doing things for all of them, so he didn't have to hear me complain about doing it all. So...that's what he has gotten ever since. I don't wash or fold their laundry, I don't take care of stuff that isn't mine anymore, I don't take stuff out for dinner if I'm not going to be home until late... because, that's what he wanted, right?! Well, I got a call this afternoon from him asking why I didn't take anything out for dinner? I said, I'm not going to be home until late, so I'm just going to eat leftovers. He said, ya, but the boys and I will be here. I said, good, then you'll be able to feed yourselves too!! I think after a few short days, he's starting to realize that... it was nice having me do stuff, and he's already starting to miss it!
