  1. I love the bikini bag too! Cute and useful! They have something similar on amazon... a bit pricier though. http://www.amazon.com/Echo-Bikini-Bag-Black-One/dp/B0038L37YO/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=apparel&qid=1294887065&sr=8-1
  2. Wish I had a picture of my dress on a model so I could join in the fun...
  3. I ordered a dress off DHgate, and it all went well. They have buyer protection just like on ebay so the seller doesn't get their money until you get your item and are satisfied with it. Just make sure you check their feedback. I would look at the knockoff dress thread; a lot of girls have purchased their dresses using DHgate from sellers such as Monica Bridal (user name: wywedding) and Babyonline.
  4. Cute story! I don't remember half of what my FI said either because I was too excited, lol
  5. Haven't used bio oil, but my sister used mederma on a fresh scar on her face and it's completely gone now.
  6. I voted #2. I like the way that "fancier" dresses look on the beach.
  7. Looks beautiful on you! My dress isn't the typical DW dress either. And I love that you're having different colored BM dresses... what a cool idea!
  8. I know this wasn't directed at me, and it may be different for Canadian brides, but I thought I would offer my two cents. I sold my dress on craigslist (they have this in Canada too, but not sure how popular it is) for the amount that I paid for it... and the girl who bought it LOVED it and was so excited that she got such nice a dress for sooo cheap! I would say it took about two weeks to sell.
  9. I just printed out three photos to have framed for my fiance's b-day, I think they cost $11 each for an 8X10. I know that getting all the photos is an option, but not sure on the price for that.
  10. Sweet, thanks for sharing! Ordering mine now! And the flip flop ones are only .99!
  11. I would recommend Serenity Photography in the Northwest burbs. Their packages start at $99! I did a boudoir shoot with them last year as a birthday gift for my fiance, and he LOVED it! Steve and Harper are a husband and wife team and they made me feel like a model during the photo shoot, lol. I think Harper does the photo shoots solo as well if you're not comfortable with a male photographer. Let me know if you have any questions or want to see example photos from my shoot. http://www.wemakebridescry.com/serenity-photography/index.php
  12. So sorry to hear you're disappointed. I know it must be way off from what you had in mind, but I have to say I think the dress looks beautiful. If there really is no way you would wear it, I would look into getting the refund. But from my experience, dresses look a lot better on than in the photos, so maybe they could make whatever fixes they can, send it to you, and then if you're still unhappy they could give you a partial refund and then you could try to sell it to recoup the cost? I actually had no problem selling my first dress on craigslist.
