Travel mugs are something they'd definitely use! This is exactly what we are thinking!! I find the "bubba keg mugs" hold the cold longer than standard mugs, and their different! Can I ask if you've looked into where you're getting them from? I tried to souce out a promotional company to do them and put artwork on them but they were way out of my price range. I'm wondering if raiding all WalMarts and Canadian Tire's are better?
  2. Reese - by Maggie Sottero Just trying to help out here. Googled the dress, hopefully the link works. It's a beautiful dress, if only I was an 8! Good luck with selling it and congrats on the wedding

Things were going well with my then boyfriend, so I kept the dress in mind and then when he proposed I'm like, I have my dress!!! However, I've never seen what it looks like on me... :oS And to make matters worse, I'm currently 6 months pregnant! LOL I was smart though, I went to my bridal shop and spoke with the girls there earlier on in my pregnancy, before I started showing, and they took my measurements. So we ordered it today based on my pre-pregnancy size plus one size. It can be taken in. I don't know if I'm more nervous or more excited!! LOL It's a beautiful dress, and I'm sure it will look stunning on! Congrats on finding your dream dress, as well as your bundle of joy coming about! Cheers,

I'd been debating about adding another bm to our wedding party and finally decided that I really wanted to but of course the colour of the dresses wasn't being made anymore. We lucked out and found the exact size and colour available through ebay and it was still a brand new dress. thanks ! Right now there are some on Etsy.com that are similar to the VS ones. Question for you... did you find the dress "dressy" enough for the wedding? did your BM's re use the dress? That's my biggest thing, I don't want them to have to have a dress that they won't wear again... It just seems like such a waste to me... Thx

  9. I'm really glad I found this thread. A very close friend of the family (like my 2nd mother) asked FI and I last week if we were registering. My FI feels it's too much to ask since people that are coming are paying so much to come with us. I was on the fence but the more ppl I've talked to think I should still do it. I want to make it very low key and not broadcast it everywhere b/c I don't want ppl to feel obligated to get us gifts/money. The only other thing I'm concerned with, is where to register? We have been living together for 3 yrs now and it does not really seem worth while to register somewhere like a big department store (as we have most things we need). Our honeymoon is included in our price for our trip as we're just staying at the resort for a 2nd week. So any suggestions on a registry? As for the shower, I'm leaving that one up to my BM's and my mom. I won't be disapointed if it doesn't happen but I'm thinking they will probably do it anyway. Cheers,
  10. Hi Everyone, If anyone is like me, you've all done tons of research on dresses. I originally wanted the Victoria Secret convertible dress in grape jelly but I was too late and it was sold out I love the deep purple colour. I found this pic on the web (somewhere but can't remember). It's sort of the style I'm looking for -- short, light weight, wearable again! If anyone has ideas of where to find something like this, ? Cheers,
  11. Ok, hope this one works. I apologize if it's too big, I'm new to posting pics and trying to sort out how to do it. My dress, Essece of Australia when I purchased it. It hasn't come in yet but probably July.
  12. Haven't tried to upload pics before so not sure if this will work. If so it's my dress Essence of Australia. Originally wanted sheath, sleek beach style dress but found this one and that was it... Cheers, dress1.zip
  13. Ran 4.6mil on Friday so that totals..... ..................... 691.5 Miles!! Great work
  14. My FI's ex wife is like that (drunk dialing and such) then acts like nothing happened the next time we see/talk to her. I could go on and on for hours/pages about some of the stuff she has pulled. At first it really bugged me and did hinder our relationship a bit. I mean I couldn't understand why someone, who was with someone else and was the one that ended the relationship, would work so hard to make a person's life hell. Anyway, we've learned to let is slide as much as possible. We make sure it doesn't affect the kids (as best we can -FI has 2 boys with her) and just go about our business. I know for a fact she will try some stunts as the wedding gets closer. She is already pulling one. The TA needs to know what it says on the kids passports and she has them and we've been asking for 2 mnts now to know what the names are listed as and she keeps giving us excuses. Anyway, my advise, just keep going along, remember its your life and they are obviously hurting if they have to do things to try to cause trouble in anyone else's life!!! Enjoy your moments! Cheers,
  15. Hi Guys, I'm new to the running thread but it is an awesome one. I just have to convert my km to miles but yesterday was 3.1 miles so 3.1 + 659.2 = 662.3 !!! good work everyone
  16. With my group finally booking! (as I've noticed from other brides posts) they've waited till the last minute, most have not RSVP'd formally to the website. My suggestion, just keep on top of those that haven't RSVP'd - if they've booked with you're TA that's pretty much your RSVP. We have at least a dozen that say they're going but will book last minute or with a different agent so try to stay in touch so you can get your numbers down.
  17. Our wedding is at 5pm. I figured while we do the pictures and such the guests can go to any of the bars and have a drink or two, then we go to dinner (we have a separate restaurant set up for the wedding group). I was thinking of passing up the cocktail & hors d'ourves hour and putting the money towards renting a stereo system and doing a mini reception party after dinner. We'll keep the restaurant for a few extra hours and dance and have drinks for a bit. After that ppl can go to resort disco or we can migrate somewhere else to party!
  18. Thanks to everyone for the great suggestions!! My search continues and I will check out each of these sites/dresses. Cheers For those Canadians- enjoy the long weekend!

Oh, frustration... that's a good word.. I even went to the lenghts of emailing VS to see if they were getting anymore in. Apparently that's it. I'm bound and determined to find a convertible dress though, I just don't want to pay anything over $100 (less if I could-knowing I could have had it for $50)
  20. Hi Everyone, I was on another thread (show us your bridesmaids dresses) and fell in love with the Victoria Secret Convertible dress in the Grape Jelly (purple). When my MOH and I went to order them, they didn't have them in the sizes I need. the worst part is they were on sale for $39!! I've tried searching for other BM dresses but I keep going back to the convertible dress. I love the idea of it!! So with my heart set on it, I'm wondering where I can find them in the darker purple reasonably priced. Any ideas of where to search would be greatly appreciated. Thank You!!

I thought I was an organized person and knew what I want but as soon as I started the planning process that all changed! Cheers,
  22. This is why I love review posts, it helps out so many future brides of that resort. Thank you for posting, although it's not my resort it's nice to know how things turned out for DW brides. Enjoy being a Mrs. Cheers,
  23. Congratulations, Can't wait for the full report (and maybe some pics!)
