  1. That sounds selfish to me, this is your day and you should be able to do what ever you want. I wouldn't worry about it you can't please everyone, people still like to complain. If they really want to be there they would make the extra effort.
  2. I would choose dress 1 it just seems more appropriate and is really pretty. Good luck!
  3. we have been together for 5yrs and when we get married it will be 5 1/2yrs
  4. I voted $1000-$2000, my dress was $900 plus alterations.
  5. I agree, you should definately give her the gift bag. If that was me I would feel awkward not giving her the gift bag.
  6. Thanks, I got a little worried because someone was saying it was an extra $200, but I have also checked into it also and thank goodness that price I heard is wrong. Thanks again
  7. Thanks for letting me know, do you have any idea what the prices are?
  8. I am getting married at the Iberostar Laguna Azul, I had a very hard time choosing the resort but I went with my gut and chose it. It looks very nice and the reviews seemed great. Hope that kind of helps, it's a tough choice.
  9. Pls let me know if the luggage tags are still available, or how many you have left, thanks.

The Perk we got was if we got the 21st person booked we would get a $1000, with that money (if we got it, which I doubt because I am only expecting 17) we were going to make it appox. $50 dollars cheaper for everyone.

  13. I can get this resort for cheaper but because most of my people can't come up with the money for the early booking bonus, I've had to switch airlines. My TA says that they only have direct flights out of Calgary once a week, so should I just tell them to book it themselves or do you think I should just book this, the quote expires in a couple of days. I don't know what to do
  14. the one I want is 1480 + 200 (taxes) for 7 nights flying out from calgary.
  15. I am really wanting to book this resort and it is 1480 + taxes (200) AI and some people are saying thats too high, but I'm not sure it is.
  16. I am getting married in Cuba and what is the acceptable price range to ask my guest to pay for my destination wedding?
  17. I love this site everyone is so nice and helpful!! Thanks
  18. Hi, I too would also love to see the pictures, pls email me at [email protected]. Look forward to seeing them, thanks again.
  19. I really aprreciate all the replies, great advice. It is just so hard choosing one. The only reason I am re-thinking the barcelo is I've heard that the mosquitos are terrible at this particular resort. I know that shouldn't be the only reason for not going there but I don't want my guests to hate me for bringing them there.
  20. I am getting married in cuba and can decide between the Iberostar Laguna Azul & the Barcelo Marina Palace. I really like both but the reviews of the Barcelo Marina Palace are making me wonder about this resort.
  21. i'm getting married in cuba in october
