  1. For my centerpieces, I am doing vases with red gerbera daisies (to match my bouquet) and a large satin-y brown square of material under it. I'll have my favor boxes at each place setting too. Mine is really simple, but since it is outside, I figured I really didn't need a ton of decoration. My invitations are finally going out in the mail today too. My FI and I spent 6 hours on Saturday tying ribbons on the invites, addressing, and putting on the stamps.
  2. Wow, I can't believe next week is the end! I'm soooo going to try to rock it this week. Congrats Tifany! Natasha, hope your wedding is wonderful!!!
  3. Zyrtec has worked well for me too. I've tried the Neti-pot, and I haven't seen a big difference with it, but my mom swears by hers!
  4. Do you definitely want a beach wedding? How far are you willing to travel from Pittsburgh?
  5. My invitations are ready to go out. I'm just waiting for the park passes for our guests to arrive so that I can include them with the invitations. Hopefully, the passes will come tomorrow or Monday, so by Wednesday the invites should all be out. I still need to order a cake. We've got to buy my fiance's mess dress too, but we're waiting on a medal to go through so we can have it added to the medal rack for his uniform. I think other than that, everything is pretty much ready to go?
  6. My fiance and I try to work out together to keep each other motivated. In the past, I've also put a calendar on the fridge and marked off each day I worked out with either a sticker or a bright marker. I feel guilty if the calendar page looks too white, so I make sure to do something so I can fill in the blocks!
  7. I'm so sorry to hear that. I like the idea of leaving the spot empty with petals or something similar scattered.
  8. I'm sorry you're having so many problems getting your invitations. It is great that the company is working with you, so I hope you are able to get it sorted soon. As for the BD vs TTD, I would go with the TTD. Like someone said above, you can always do a BD shoot for an anniversary later on!
  9. I would have your fiance talk to him about how he needs to act if he comes. If you have someone that can run interference, like someone else suggested, I would take advantage of it, at least during the ceremony and reception parts.
  10. I think that if your doctor is ignoring your question, you might want to get a second opinion. I agree with the others too that while changing your diet is a great thing, if you aren't eating enough or working out, you may not see a big drop in weight. Also, maybe you are retaining water in areas other than your legs
  11. I've never been to a bachelorette party where people bring gifts.

  13. I remembered to weigh in today!!! I did it first thing after I ran this morning (wishful thinking that my "last chance" run would help, hahahaha!!). I'm down two pounds from my weigh in two weeks ago!
  14. I went out of town this past weekend for my friend's wedding, and I actually weighed and took a picture...but then I forgot to upload it to my computer later and email it in! Aaahhhh!!!! At least I wasn't the only one!
  15. Hopefully, I won't totally screw up my weight loss this weekend. I'm going to the beach for my best friend's wedding, so I'm sure I will have some not-so-healthy foods. I will try my best to send in my weight tomorrow!

I'm sending mine out in about 2 weeks.
