I'm seeing them for $5-7 around me... I found him in a kiosk at Yonge-Eglinton in the mall. 1st floor. I got the backing paper at Michael's in the scrapbooking section.
  2. Sephora makes a really good brush cleaner as well. I clean them at night, and they're good to go in the morning.
  3. I'd be interested in the BD marathon as well!

  5. Great job! I bought the bridesmaid cosmetic bag from Michael's and was wondering what to do with it! Perfect inspiration!
  6. Thanks for letting us know. What a superb deal! I just ordered 18 chapsticks, and only paid for the shipping. LOVE IT!
  7. Good luck ladies! You all deserve it!
  8. Thanks for the heads up Renée. I'm having some BM dress issues, so this will definitely help! I'll be sure to check it out.
  9. We used the post office, and things arrived no problem. There's a definite difference between a regular stamp, and a $20 charge! My suggestion would be to mail it through the USPS first, and if it arrives with no issue, great! If not, then you can go the UPS/DHL/etc route. Most likely that won't be necessary, and you'll save yourself $20!

I also really like the idea of getting different colors so the guests have some options. Hey Tiffany, there's a vendor here in Toronto that sells them for like $2 something a piece from a cart in a local mall. With that kind of price, I chose to get them as the RSVP's came in, since I would most likely be spending less this way, than getting them for possibly a bit cheaper, but have extra. I've been getting assorted colors, so that people can swap for exactly what they want!
  11. I haven't done a site visit, but my FI and I choose the Regency for our wedding and honeymoon. He's an avid golfer, and our TA told us this would be the best resort for that and spa services.
  12. teshy! Thanks. I'm American and my FI is Canadian. We're going to be settling here in the Toronto area, and I'm so confused as to where to even begin!
  13. I was wondering if anyone on the board has had to deal with immigration issues after having their wedding. I have checked multiple sources, but after the general information I always end up with the "Consult an immigration lawyer" line... Aurgh! So frustrating! Any advice or stories would be appreciated! I'm particularly looking for US and Canadian immigration.
  14. I get emails once or twice a week. It might be a few days before you get the first one. No need to worry!
