  1. I am in LOVE with your dress! Do you mind telling me who the designer is?
  2. That has got to be one of the cutest engagement stories I've ever read!
  3. I agree with everyone, for the circumstances these are beyond great! You are going to make such a lovely bride! Congratulations on your engagement!
  4. Magalie!! I just wanted to wish you a quick "CONGRATS AND HAVE FUN"! I have been silently stalking your wedding webpage and love your blogs. Enjoy and I cant wait to hear all about it when you return!
  5. Wow really?! I work in reality television and I honestly (from a producer standpoint) believed in most of it! Of course I can tell some scenes are total set ups but I do believe in the beef between Olivia and Tracy. Altho I think Tracy goes over the top and is trying to make a name for herself. I'm so glad to learn I'm not alone! Although I too am more for Real Housewives of NJ!
  6. Soooo, am I the only one who has the guilty pleasure of watching Jerseylicious?
  7. I couldn't agree more with the majority of you ladies. Last season something didn't sit right with me about Caroline, although I admire her loyalty and love for her family...but with that said NOTHING sat right with me about Danielle. I'm OVER her. They can move away from that storyline as far as I'm concerned. I heard something about how she had Jacqueline's daughter arrested or something. Anyway, being a person who currently lives in Jersey, went to college here and LOVES Jersey...I'm so ashamed by most of these women. I know people love Theresa but honestly the only ones I can really stand to watch are Jacqueline and Dina. The rest...well let's just say...nothing. Because I have nothing nice to say. And that Kim (The blonde girl) WOW! Two-Faced is so right...Do any of you watch "Watch What Happens Live w/ Andy"?
  8. We go to PV EVERY single year and I feel much safer there than in NJ. It's like a person from Canada saying they won't visit the US because of all the crime that's happening in Detroit...well Detroit is just one city in a whole different state. You can't banish the rest of the country for one area that is being run down with thugs. Needless to say, PV is VERY safe. It is our favorite destination spot and last year during the whole swine flu was GREAT! Everything is still at a pretty good discount. We are actually returning in 3 weeks and I can't wait!
  9. I am TOO excited for this season. I really do hope Dina and her husband didn't break up though. I'm sure her sister and brother-in-law talked him into letting her stay on the show.
  10. I actually haven't watched the show but have seen the promos and myy gooodness she looks so much older. I feel so bad for her. Such low self esteem!

She was definitely my favorite by FAR in past seasons. I'm not sure what it is! I cannot put my finger on it. But thank you so much for reminding me why I fell in love with these characters in the first place! I do like all of them. The character growth on this show is just amazing!
  12. cristini - ugh!!! My thoughts and prayers go out to you both. It's amazing you both have each other to help you through it. So many people don't even have that. With that said, this economy is just hitting one person after another, it's like the dominoes effect! It couldn't be worse timing, you said it right. Again, just expressing my sympathies. I'm so sorry girl! I've been laid off for close to a year now and it's just now looking better. I do hope he finds something soon! IT's are needed! I see a lot of those positions on job boards!
  13. No baby yet and she doesn't know the sex. Just watched Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen and she was on. I'm just SO happy for her! Although I am disappointed with her and Jill...I want them to be friends again. =(
  14. I just LOVE Joan and her husband SO MUCH. They are by FAR my favorite couple. That redhead lady, Lenore, UGH! I just want her goneee!! Roxy and Pamela are probably my least two favorite characters on the show lately but I used to LOVE them. I'm not sure what it is....hmm.
  15. Woodbridge area seems like a nice central point.
  16. OMG Reading all of these is scaring me SILLY! I have been debating this for YEARS. Only a few of my friends get these done regularly and they tell me it hurts beyond belief. Mind you, hwen I was 15 I got my lip pierced, so I know pain. However, as a 28 year old adult now...I just can't imagine omg...I can't ESPECIALLY after reading all of your stories! The thing that is making me lean more towards it is, it seems like it would be SO MUCH EASIER not to have to shave every other day and for it just to be smooth....how nice would that be. UGHHH Dilemmas!
  17. I just read this last night and was so overcome at what a great hotel that was! It sucks their wedding was ruined but it could've been a lot worse thats for sure!
  18. In response to your question about being selfish, NO WAY! I don't want any child under the age of 8 at my wedding. It's your day, your choice. Period. I also think your FSIL probably has a proactive plan in case her daughter starts to get out of hand. Most weddings I've been to if a child starts to get cranky there is always someone there to make sure they take them out of the vicinity for a bit. I wouldn't worry too much about it. But honestly, I do not think you are being selfish at all.
  19. Woohoo! We'll have just gotten back from our vacation in puerto vallarta so that would be absolutely fine with me! Driving down to the shore is another story...lol. Altho, if that's easiest for the majority...go for it!
  20. @Aisha I hear you. I will be putting in prayers for all of you future brides out there. This time is stressful. We should all (as they say) count our blessings of having the love of our lives at our sides. I know my friends are constnatly telling me how blessed I am to have found someone as they deal with the toads of the world yet sometimes I get so frustrated I'm just like YOU HAVE A JOB!!!!!! Don't tell me about being blessed! LOL But deep down I know we are only given as much as we can handle and honestly, who can have it all? We just have to be thankful for what we do have and keep on the lookout. The whole teacher thing....I hope that the governors plan goes through as well in NJ. I know a lot of teachers not finding work and I find that so disgusting. But that's another story. Teachers deserve a lot more respect than they are getting.
  21. Wow! Pazz, that is awesome info! And what a nice gesture on their behalf. I hope one of you ladies wins!
  22. Wow, on that site where I live I would be spending between 22,000 and 39,000! Um yeah, much better spent on a down payment for a house and our future together. I honestly don't know why EVERYONE doesn't choose a destination wedding. None of my friends have had one and I would go in a heartbeat if one of them decided to! It just makes more sense to me. Anyway, thank you for the welcome cristini! We are in the very early stages (2012) so I'm just gathering information from all of you and creating folders etc. on my computer of what exactly I like and want to use and then showing it to the man to give him a choice between A B or C..anything more than that and he'd start getting picky and I wouldn't like that. lol.
  23. Hey all! There do seem to be a lot of us huh? I am in Jersey City (I'm originally from IL) but went to Kean University and my FI is from Woodbridge! We actually looked into having it possibly at Liberty State Park (it was the only place I would consider) because their restaurant and outside views of NYC are crazy beautiful! Their prices were OUTRAGEOUS. After that I realized just how smart we were to go away, especially being my family would have to fly regardless.
  24. What a GREAT review! We love the Velas chain! In fact we leave next month for our main vacation at Velas Vallarta and can't wait to stop by there. Just saw more pictures of this event (if your name is Kim) on Casa Velas's Facebook site. The set up was GORGEOUS. Incredible Weddings did a FANTASTIC job! I wish they had prices listed on their site!
  25. Aisha - I know the feeling! We have pushed our wedding back (I'm in Jersey too) to 2012 because we want to have our dream wedding in Mexico and I have been unemployed for a bit over a YEAR! It is ESPECIALLY hard in this area of the country I feel. I constantly am questioning myself. I went to college, I interned, I did everything right and so not having a job is just so confusing to me but I just wanted to send you well wishes because I too am in your boat! My FI also has a very stable job and he's been carrying the load for all of these months. If I wasn't convinced marriage was for me before, nothing has convinced me more than how he has stepped up and been there for me during unemployment. I TRULY believe now, Through Sickness and Health and whether RICH or POOR. Considering we were bringing in well over 150k when it was both of us and now that is cut in half...I just don't know what I would do without him! I actually just had an interview today but it's for a short term project. I am hoping it will lead to longer work though. We'll see! Fingers crossed! I hope you find something soon so you can be excited. =(
