Sorry to barge in here but I would just like to Congratulate all of the Feb 2010 brides.... i (if you dont mind me saying) popped on here everyday to see how you were all getting on and im going to miss the daily catch up.... I hope you all enjoy married life and stick around to help us brides to be in our planning as without you guys a lot of people wonuldnt be where they are today with the knowledge they have. Again congratulations to all of you and the pics I have seen are so so beautiful and every single one of you looked stunning. I just cant wait until May 2011 so I can (like you) call myself a MRS!!!!! x

fsuambs... Great to see you back lovely :-) Definatly sounds like you've had a hectic month. Glad you've got rid of that cold.... they dont half get you down. Riu Palace Las Americas.... Beautiful place, are you visiting there in April aswell as others? I wish i could afford to do a site and surrounding areas visit, it would certainly give me the taste... mind you im bad enough now so maybe its a god thing!!! lol. Michelle 15 months...WOW... its so exciting.... you now its scary aswell coz the time will probably fly by. Last may we seriously started to complile lists and set the time & date for our wedding (TBC) but we knew we wanted May 2011, and when i think back to that, the 9 months has gone so fast!!! Where abouts in the UK are you from if you dont mind me asking? Im from Warrington Cheshire... but now live in Annan, Scotland as my FI is from here. Sorry im just being my usual self and being nosey :-p p.s. you have just reminded me to check my Euromillions and lotto tickets from the weekend!!! x

Mischaka... yeah it was on here i also first heard of TTD, This site is full of so much... just wish id found it sooner!! I do understand what your saying about pictures though and these ones are probably the only ones ive ever looked forward to as much :-) I think i had a friend photog id get millions done!!! Hehe.... prettypigpig.... ITS NEVER TO EARLY!!!!! & by the sounds of it your much more advanced than me in the finance department!! Haha... Your STD's are fab, Like michelle im not having them but i totally agree with her your guest will love them, i would love to receive something like that :-) As for photographers im with cjb0arder13 on this and using the hotel one. Not because i dont like having my photo taken (which i do hate) though but just simply because its just easier and like cjb0arder13 we will have friends and family there aswell who we will get pictures off. We absolutly want pictures of our big day, but 12/24 professional ones and the rest from others will be great for us :-) Im not doing a TTD, although they look so much fun, we just havent got it in our budget... ARGH.... Flippin' budget!!!! haha :-) If we did i'd be right there with most of you, but i dont think id use my "actual" wedding dress though! but im not really sure how these work, but as i mentioned they look like so much fun. x

Cant wait to see your pics :-) $2 per invite seems reasonable to me... if you went out and bought them im sure they'd be much more expensive, and also doing them this way it makes them more personal which i think is lovely and one of the reasons i decided to make mine :-) Michelle, your dress is just so stunning. Ive never really been into the big weddng dresses but yours just makes me want to stare at it... I love how it looks on the waist and love how the skirt it two tonned (If thats what you'd call it) I know what you mean about a good clean up with the ring though (not that I can tell with yours) Ive had mine just over 8 years and my eternity ring nearly 8 years... Ive cleaned it myself but never had it done professionally, i will prob get it done nearer to the wedding though as after the wedding when worn together i want all of them to look nice and shiney together :-) Mischaka... Im a bit like your really im looking at loosing weight aswell (About 18 pounds) but its so much easier said than done. I think for me anyway it would be better to loose at least a bit of weight first before ordering the dress that way less alterations (Hopefully). Good luck with your weight loss and I love the " im going to do it" attitude because that is so so important... let us know how you get on :-) The light nights are atarting to creep in now so im going to start running when i get home from work for half hour a day so that i hope will help. and as soon as the wedding is booked my exercise bike and stepper will be coming back out if there was ever an incentive then i think a beach wedding is it.... i know im putting off the stepper etc but when the wedding is booked it will feel more real ten... and i have no choice if i dont want to look and be uncomfortable on our big day.... Sorry for the essay!!!!! x

Im with you on the whole dress thing though.. 100% AishaB It suprises me how many people arent open minded in this world, to be honest i dont think it gets them anywhere x Wow definatly a bargin dress! You'll no doubt look stunning. and even better there are no alterations!! Hello everyone & Welcome to all the new brides to be :-) wow the rings on here are gorgeous.... So well thought of, i havent even really thought too much about ours and now im worried.. haha... think im going to have to start seriously looking :-) My Engagement ring is lovely, its just what i wanted nice and simple and I already have an Eternity ring beacuse as i always tell people im greedy!!!!!!! Here are my rings :- Pics not very good as taken on my mobile phone and its not an upto date one so the pic quality is rubbish. Think thats my next search now..... Our wedding rings :-) AishaB... Like you I have tried my dress on but it was months ago and i talked myself out of it as it was out of my budget £900 (which i know isnt expensive for a wedding dress but i didnt budget for his much) BUT a few weeks ago i stummbled across it online for €138 and i figured i will take the risk for that price, Works out at about £125 so well within my budget i was looking around £300/£400, So im going to go and try it on one more time just to make sure (BUT I REALLY LOVE IT so its an excuse just to try it on again really) :-) Awww, and what a lovely thing your doing instead of rings... Ive never seen this before. ronsoliman.... Im not sure what the date in May is yet as we cant get dates or book anything until May this year but we are hopefully looking for around the 6th? Watch this space.... What about you? :-) x

Hi Kim.... Were from the UK & getting Married at the Riu Palace Riviera Maya in May 2011. We umm'd n Argh'd with this for so so long... but want to get married in Mexico so decided to just have the test done. I have spoken to Thomson, First choice and Thomas cook and a couple of girls on here about this as it was my biggest worry. I have found out our blood test will be included in our wedding package if booked through them and not with the hotel direct and it is done about 2 days before your wedding with test results back that day or day after and this is done in your hotel room by a doctor. I would say check with travel agents as this may vary resort to resort. If you havent decided on where to get wed yet this could maybe be one of the deciding factors. I know how you feel though as this was the major thing i was worried about. Where are you getting married? & When? :-) x
